Studies Showing Adverse Effects of Dietary Soy, 1971-2003

Soy Dangers Summarized * High levels of phytic acid in soy reduce assimilation of calcium, magnesium, copper, iron and zinc. Phytic acid in soy is not neutralized by ordinary preparation methods such as soaking, sprouting and long, slow cooking. High phytate diets have caused growth problems in children. * Trypsin inhibitors in soy interfere with protein digestion and may cause pancreatic disorders. In test animals soy containing trypsin inhibitors caused stunted growth. * Soy phytoestrogens disrupt endocrine function and have the potential to cause infertility and to promote breast cancer in adult women. * Soy phytoestrogens are potent antithyroid agents that cause hypothyroidism and may cause thyroid cancer. In infants, consumption of soy formula has been linked to autoimmune thyroid disease. * Vitamin B12 analogs in soy are not absorbed and actually increase the body's requirement for B12. * Soy foods increase the body's requirement for vitamin D. * Fragile proteins are denatured during high temperature processing to make soy protein isolate and textured vegetable protein. * Processing of soy protein results in the formation of toxic lysinoalanine and highly carcinogenic nitrosamines. * Free glutamic acid or MSG, a potent neurotoxin, is formed during soy food processing and additional amounts are added to many soy foods. * Soy foods contain high levels of aluminum which is toxic to the nervous system and the kidneys. http://www.westonaprice.org/soy/index.html

Missy REMIX

Produced by: MoFo Entertainment Location: CLUB Firestone Date: Fall 2003 Choreography: Desiree Ortiz Staged by: Kris Mohfanz Costumes: Wayne Fowks Music: Wayne Fowks / DJ TRYPSIN Talent: Desiree, Melissa, Lance, GB For those of you who know that GB and Collen K. got married... well its at Firestone and watching him dance with our group where she first saw him (or so I have been told.) She is in the video on the right back pinning over him. CUTE. And I make an appearance in the back left with my ski cap on. Yes, I still wear it to this day. This is one of my FAV numbers. The mix was created by Wayne and DJ Trypsin and was genius and Desiree's choreo rock out the HOUSE. Enjoy.

Toy's ALIVE

Produced by: MoFo Entertainment - KrisMOHFANZ/ WayneFOWKS Location: CLUB Firestone Date: Fall 2003 Choreography: Kris Mohfanz / Desiree Ortiz Music: Wayne Fowks / DJ TRYPSIN (contribution- W.Fowks) Costume Design: Wayne Fowks Talent: Desiree, Melissa, Lance, GB Here we go... So this number was conceived by Wayne, Desiree, and I at Suite 304 in Altamonte Springs (MoFo Headquarters.) This was a number that would be ONE of the WAY over the TOP numbers that NOT very many people got. The setting was a modern day TOY shop with one of the Toy's wanting control. So, Desiree - the black hearted Ragged Anne) sets out to take control, killing all her toy friends in hopes that someone will buy her. Well, that was my take on the whole piece. Wayne and Trypsin concocted another masterpiece and we see Desiree's character killing off Barbie by death of that Drill Gun. When Ken doesn't fall in LOVE with her she beats him up. Then, she turns on her creator- the modern day Jeppeto (played by Lance) - by stabbing him to death. BTW, she does this with a prop that was used in the very FIRST performance we created at the CLUB. ;) At the end however she finds that she's truly lonely and she brings them all back to life for one final dance.... Now, let me touch on the costumes. The best is Wayne's BLACK HEART that he pinned on Raggedy and also the use of Lance's actual apron from the store he worked at with that certain bullseye for their logo! ;) Um, if my memory serves me correct that Pink dress on Melissa wasn't built for her but Wayne got it on her anyways.... he he! And let's not over look Desiree's final flick off on the final beat just to let ya know how DARK Raggedy really felt. his week was a fun one. When the audience didn't understand this one, we came back HARD with the MISSY Remix that the audience went crazy OVA. Kris

Trypsinisation of 3t3 cells, timelapse

Timelapse (phase contrast microscope) of the reaction of 3t3 fibroblasts to the combined action of 0.025% (wt/vol) trypsin (serine protease, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trypsin) and 0.01% EDTA (ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid, wt/vol, calcium ion chelator, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EDTA) in a phosphate buffer salt solution with 5mM glucose, as used for passaging of cells. The chelation of the Ca ions immediately releases the cell-cell adhesions, the cell/surface adhesions take longer to be dismantled. At the end the cells are ready to be released from the surface by a gentle tap to the dish.

Firece HOUSE

Produced by: MoFo Entertainment -KrisMOHFANZ/WayneFOWKS Location: CLUB Firestone Date: Summer 2003 Choreography: Kris Mohfanz Music: Wayne Fowks / DJ TRYPSIN Costume Design: Wayne Fowks Talent: RoXXXy, Desiree, Melissa, Jeff, Shannon Fun facts: THis number was also during the same night at the "School Number." I have left this unedited, and let me just warn... it should be. This number was the FIRST number that Wayne decided to have RoXXXy be showcased in. We were testing the waters to see how the audience would react to "her" since Nazoni was on the outs headed back to the reservation after this night of performances. Though almost busting on that platform (which to her defense was slippery and plexi) she did fantastic. The boys on the other hand.... not so much. What can you do? There is only so many rehearsals one can do before over working the PAID performers to the point that they feel its NOT worth their time. The result... some just couldn't keep up or even remember choreography. It sure is fun to watch now though. These are classic club DIVA songs and are as the gays say "fierce." Two snaps and a clap for this mix by Wayne and Trypsin. Enjoy... just don't watch the boys that much! =) Kris

WORK - Labor Day Party

Produced by: MoFo Entertainment - KrisMOHFANZ/ WayneFOWKS Location: CLUB Firestone Date: Labor Day Weekend 2003 Choreography: Kris Mohfanz / Desiree Ortiz Music: Kris Mohfanz / DJ TRYPSIN (contribution- W.Fowks) Costume Design: Wayne Fowks Talent: Desiree, Melissa, Lance (Supermodel,) Patrick Okay so there were a few funny moments for this weekends festivities. First, it was labor day and so myself and DJ Trypsin devised a four part "work" theme for the dancers. Wayne was busy directing the Shape of Things at Rollins College (which was amazing.) So, Desiree and I set out to choreograph and have fun with this one. Along the way I decided that for the FIRE section that it would be SO different and unexpected to actually have Patrick turn the hose on the crowd. (We later did that during Pepper Mayshay's Dive in the Pool performance.) The club was still under construction so there weren't to many obstacles to hinder the use of the hose. So, about 45 minutes BEFORE the number we turned OFF all the A/C units in the CLUB. ALL OF THEM. I figured, let's get them all hot and bothered and THEN cool them off with the water from the HOSE! Clever right! I thought so. In the number Patrick barely wets them and what you can't see is me on the side spraying everyone in the front for the rest of the number. Desiree and I pulled this one off and with Wayne's great costumes and that back drop... what more is there to say? Another fun MoFo for Firestone production! Long winded description on this one, I know... but good times! (shout out for Lance who WORKS it out in this one!) Kris

Back to SCHOOL

Produced by: MoFo Entertainment - KrisMOHFANZ/ WayneFOWKS Location: CLUB Firestone Date: Last week in August 2003 Choreography: Kris Mohfanz / Desiree Ortiz Music: Wayne Fowks / DJ TRYPSIN Costume Design: Wayne Fowks Talent: Desiree, Melissa, Jeff, Shannon, Nazoni Hello again, so let's see what are my thoughts on this one. Well, first off I did edit about 15 seconds from the screen section because the boys just couldn't get it together. ;) This week we had Shannon back and a new boy Jeff was thrown into the mix. Some fun things to look out for - I LOVE LOVE LOVE the MoFo that wayne sprayed on the lockers during the opening scene with Melissa and Desiree. Nazoni was the CLUB's resident Drag performer and this was her last weekend before going back to the reservation (seriously.) Wayne scripted her section and DJ Trypsin mixed the music for us as usual, so this piece was truly an original. Hmmm, what else can I share about this piece... oh, Desiree was so nervous about dancing on the table before the number but got right out there and tore it UP! Also, I LOVE Melissa turning the back table over and throwing it. The thought for this number was really kids rebelling in their Catholic School. Of course the climax being them ripping off Nazoni's Nun costume (something that I wore for Halloween 2004) and doing her. Oh, the things that came out of Wayne's brain sometimes. There's a line and then there's MoFo crossing it. The number to me was so so. It was a lot of fun to watch the peeps in the audience react. Did they get the back to school theme? Who knows! Were they entertained... hell yes! Kris

SKIN TIGHT - Be My Girl

SKIN TIGHT by ROXY Night Club Produced by: MoFo Entertainment - KrisMOHFANZ/WayneFOWKS Managed by: Kris Mohfanz for MoFo Ent. Location: Roxy Night Club Choreography: Jenny Gruby Music: Wayne Fowks / DJ TRYPSIN Costume Design: Wayne Fowks Talent: Jenny, Suzie, Shannah This was a package number that was already set by Jenny when we ventured into working the partnership for Roxy. I LOVE this number and again this was the 2nd version of it. The first contained four girls AND a LIVE guitarist. LOVED THAT, but with budget cuts away went one girl and the live instrument. That's okay the three girls proved they could WORK it out. Also, they were positioned all over the dance floor. One thing to note on this performance. I think it was about 10 days after Jenny had surgery on her knee so, big shout out to her for keeping up with those other two. Another fun tid bit... this was the night that Jenny and I tapped Suzie in the infamous boobie exchange in the dressing room... ;) Kris

Firestone - Tribal

Produced by: MoFo Entertainment - KrisMOHFANZ/WayneFOWKS Location: CLUB Firestone Choreography: Kris Mohfanz / Desiree Ortiz Music: DJ Trypsin Costume Design: Wayne Fowks Talent: Desiree, Patrick, Nick So, this was a crazy night because myself, Desiree, and Patrick were all dancing with Abigail at Phouse. I will upload those videos as soon as I can. Wayne had a knack for finding talent and really pushing their career (though maybe just a CLUB career) forward. So was the case with Mizz Cori (who is now prominent on the Miami/ S. Florida scene.) During a period at the CLUB it was thought that a "drag" show would win over the crowds of Orlando. Sadly as Wayne and I thought they were wrong. And so Wayne and I fought to bring BACK the performances that we had been producing for months. This one was one that would mesh together a little dance diddy and then incorporate a drag/dark character. Now, I will upload the OTHER performance that Mizz Cori went did for us that was a solo. Theme for the night was Tribal and we also had a percussionist GLOW team beating to the BEAT. It was a night of extravaganza and it was a FUN one for sure! Enjoy.... Kris

Milkshake Served

Produced by: MoFo Entertainment - KrisMOHFANZ/WayneFOWKS Location: CLUB Firestone Date: Fall 2003 Choreography: Kris Mohfanz / Desiree Ortiz Music: Wayne Fowks / DJ TRYPSIN Costume Design: Wayne Fowks Talent: Desiree, Lance, Patrick Fun facts: Okay so the idea to do this great mix came about because our budget got slashed and we were told to concentrate on Drag Shows in the Show Room. When that didn't work, Wayne and I pleaded to bring back the numbers. A way to cut costs was to find pre made mixes... this happened to be one of them. We didn't cut it, we didn't do ANYTHING to it. Left it as is. The live milkshake idea also came from a previous show (which will be uploaded soon) where we handed out pancaked to the audience. To our surprise everyone eat them. Let's not mention the fact that they were sitting in the Southern Nights dressing room for about 10 hours prior to show start. Ewwww, but they took it and gobbled it all down. Moving right along... :) I still laugh when I see this video because the super tiny pleather shorts the boys are wearing were actually purchased for the girls in the horny number and we joked to see if Patrick would actually wear them. Lance never had a problem (of course not.) We were amazing that he said okay to wear them and out they went. Oh.... this is a CUTE number, but fell short of what I was seeing in the over all creative for it. What are you going to do though. Live is live and you just have to go with it. This number is a favorite, and if Kevin Costner would have seen it he would have thought it was NEAT. Enjoy the boys in the tiny shorts... KRIS

Naughty Girls - House of Blues

Girls at GAYDAYS Location: Orlando, House of Blues Date: 6.2.2004 Produced by: MoFo Entertainment (Kris Mohfanz/ Wayne Fowks Choreography: Kris Mohfanz Music: Wayne Fowks / DJ TRYPSIN Costume Design and Build: Wayne Fowks Talent: Shannah, Jenny, Sara This event was the Girls in Wonderland 2004 Party and the night was FULL of non stop entertainment. Jenny who was the lead dancer in this video had already put in a FULL night at Roxy Nightclub where MoFo held the entertainment contract. She rushed to H.O.B. and busted out TWO more numbers for us. All while having just had knee surgery THREE yes 3 days earlier. Amazing. I love the girl in the background and the things she is saying. This was a classic performance of Naughty Girls. Created for Roxy, over there it included whip cream...

Carcass - Slash Dementia

From the 1989 album "Symphonies of Sickness" Lyrics: Your jugular arteries ripped Viscous juices gush and bleed You're gutted, skinned and mangled Enteral disorder is freed Your rib-cage wrenched and torn Still-pumping heart is crushed and smashed Your alimentary canal is finely chopped Lumpen meat is hacked... ...Disembowel, chop and trash... Veins are stripped and flayed Of haemorrhage, bile and sweat Savoured cuts are cured Bodily parts are wrecked Bissection of the twitching corpse Copious blood is drained Captive-bolt and pole-axe Shred, trash and maim... ...Dismember, carve and hack... I rip open pectoral cavities to devour my still-steaming grub Drinking adeps and effluence, smearing myself in congealing blood I tear at sauted crackling to guzzle on fetid swag Butchered remains are carved and collected in a doggy-bag... I mince up your limbs, off-cuts and cartilege Stuffing freshly-drawn intestine with grated coronary arteries I slice from your mutilated trunk runny fats and rind Skewering eye-orbits, brain, genitals and organs I grind... Bins od torrid offal where writhing stomachs squirm Chunks amongst your thighs and rump, crawling with tape-worm Snapped spinal column is gnawed, curdled trypsin turns into cheese Your vena cava lashed, on your pericardial sac I feed... I gourge myself on your loin, erepsin and brine consumed Blubbering escharic tegument, steaming remains turn into grume... ...Cranial fluids sucked... ...Flooded organs crushed... - You are totally wasted... Your dissected shell collapses, as I eat congested insides Desregarded entrails fume and rot, now host to hungry flies... ...Cranial fluids sucked... ...Flooded organs crushed... - You are totally wasted... [Solo: complete and utter dismantlement of torso with carnage] ...Slow bissection makes me laugh...

Proteomic depletion, antitrypsin: PMAP

http://www.proteolysis.org A1AT: Alpha-1-antitrypsin. A1AT is inhibitor of serine proteases. Its primary target is elastase, but it also has a moderate affinity for plasmin and thrombin. Inhibits trypsin, chymotrypsin and plasminogen activator. The aberrant form inhibits insulin-induced NO synthesis in platelets, decreases coagulation time and has proteolytic activity against insulin and plasmin. Proteomics is the large-scale study of proteins, particularly their structures and functions. The term "proteomics" was coined to make an analogy with genomics, the study of the genes. An interesting use of proteomics is using specific protein biomarkers to diagnose disease. A number of techniques allow to test for proteins produced during a particular disease, which helps to diagnose the disease quickly. Techniques include western blot, immunohistochemical staining, enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) or mass spectrometry. Proteins of interest to biological researchers are usually part of a very complex mixture of other proteins and molecules that co-exist in the biological medium. This presents two significant problems. First, the two ionization techniques used for large molecules only work well when the mixture contains roughly equal amounts of constituents, while in biological samples, different proteins tend to be present in widely differing amounts. If such a mixture is ionized using electrospray or MALDI, the more abundant species have a tendency to "drown" or suppress signals from less abundant ones. The second problem is that the mass spectrum from a complex mixture is very difficult to interpret because of the overwhelming number of mixture components. This is exacerbated by the fact that enzymatic digestion of a protein gives rise to a large number of peptide products. To contend with this problem, two methods are widely used to fractionate proteins, or their peptide products from an enzymatic digestion. The first method fractionates whole proteins and is called two-dimensional gel electrophoresis. The second method, high performance liquid chromatography is used to fractionate peptides after enzymatic digestion. In some situations, it may be necessary to combine both of these techniques. SKIN TIGHT - Nasty Girls

SKIN TIGHT by ROXY Night Club Produced by: MoFo Entertainment - KrisMOHFANZ/WayneFOWKS Managed by: Kris Mohfanz for MoFo Ent. Location: Roxy Night Club Choreography: Kris Mohfanz / Jenny Gruby Music: Wayne Fowks / DJ TRYPSIN Costume Design: Wayne Fowks Talent: Jenny, Suzie, Shannah Well, let's talk about SKIN TIGHT. This concept and job was actually brought to MoFo by Jenny Gruby (thanks.) Jenny, Wayne, and I sat down and created a set number of dances they would rotate, just like the old Pleasure Island dancers. The girls were at first required to do three production numbers through out the night and then do the "window" performances (that is were is got very very very experimental and creative.) This was all about girl on girl, SEX, and more T and A. We served it up for about 6 months before the budget was cut and so were MoFo and the girls. Many GREAT memories that I can NOT share took place within this six months and I wouldn't change it for the world. I just wish I had MORE videos from their taped. I will keep looking. This was the THREE girl version. When the number first premiered their were four girls. The costumes they are wearing were the actual Horny costumes minus the cat collars that wayne had designed. They were Cats for that the number WITH tail and ears... VERY HOT costumes. As the months went on though we started switching up the costumes and the numbers etc. (one fun memory - Easter - with Tabitha G. put in the furry bunny suit for the window set... still makes me laugh.)
