After a cold and wet Christmas Eve in 2004 and an ascent of Tryfan and Glyder Fach a Boxing Day return was in order. My reconnoitre gave me the confidence to attempt a daring snow filled scramble and continuation around the Glyders with a chance meeting to fulfill the day. The route was cold and in snow but with all the right equipment it was a fantastic day in virtually new territory for me...

a walk up tryfan

A sequence of photographs I took whilst on a hike up to the summit of Moel Tryfan, near Caernarfon in Snowdonia during lovely warm sunny weather on Easter Saturday last year. This small mountain (the summit is only 1440 feet above sea level) has an interesting geological feature: it rocky summit which Charles Darwin visited in 1846. I created the accompanying music from scratch in the middle of the night using my apple mac garage band software.

On the 17.02.08, Aberystwyth University walking club went scrambling, walking and climbing up Tryfan in Wales. We made it up to the peak and it was incredible and lovely. At the top there was the famous rocks "Adam and Eve" and me and only two other group members decided to jump between the two rocks.
