Rushmore Guitars : Black and tan = 1/2 white 1/2 black Limba

Guitar blank made out of Limba , 1/2 white and 1/2 black Limba all from the same piece of quartersawn wood blank ! This is not 2 pieces glued together - NO ! The board is complete from the tree it was cut from ! Exotic Lumber got a deal goin on with the Almighty on thier wood source for sure ! I HAVE NEVER SEEN A PIECE LIKE THIS IN MY LIFE and these are gonna be amazing ( not a neck through or glue on or bolt on ) one solid piece of wood guitar ! No neck joints to mess up the pure tonality of total resonant vibration complete from 1 end to the other ! Limba is the most resonant wood sometimes nicknamed or called "super Mahogany" from builders and is the sweetest tone in my humble opinion . Gibson stumbled upon this great tone wood by accident because they wanted to save money on their experimental guitars the flying vee , explorer , futura and moderne back in the 50's. I have 3 more pieces just like this all from the same 16 foot long board and will make some amazing looking and sounding guitars ! Rushmore guitars is always going there !

Does a solid-body guitar wood has a sound ?

Mad guitarists welcome ! Living with difficult neighbours...so for 15 years I've played with the electric guitar almost ever unplugged...not so fun...but in so many years you can learn a lot from the sound of woods...even if the volume is so low...so I learn to distinguish if an electric guitar is good or not by its 'acoustic' resonance...hollow body a part...obviously In this demo,I use a condenser unidirectional close to the fingerboard to hear how it sound (the fingerboard is important for the attack of the sound, the initial transient that give crisp sound (like ebony) or mellow attack (rosewood),and the same mic close to the back side of the body to hear the tonewood sound most important for your guitar pickups (pickups don't sound..they only capture the vibration of the body through strings, via a magnetic field, they create electric signal adding the output variable and equalization and others parameters) Great electric guitars have clear resonance and sustain, with polite and defined attack (also important is the correct matching of the neck-body) Ther'are millions others things involved...just ask your luthier ! Try to 'hear' a new intrument you are testing before connetcting it to an amp...it mask sometimes some defects BE AWARE:DON'T COME TOO CLOSE TO THE STRINGS WITH YOUR FACE:IF A STRING BROKES IT CAN TAKE OFF YOUR NOSE,EYES...OR HEAD

The ultimate guitar : Rushmore 1 piece guitars Tap tones

So many people are angry and upset at this ultimate style of guitar construction ? ! It seems that denial is not just a river in Egypt - Really it's because a lot of builders were told it would not be stable in luthiers school and they believed what their education taught them but they were lied too ! That along with my boldness on this type of construction and my constant attacks on the antiquated 2 piece design from yesteryear the glue on or bolt on makes enemies of guys who are making that type of guitar - it ticks them off because they realize how much this blows their guitars away . It is a new design and it is the absolute best construction technique to grace the guitar world ! The 1 piece guitar design is the most significant style and purest form of production for Tone and Sustain ever made on planet Earth and the tone woods are hand picked by myself and Exotic Lumber in Annapolis for the most extravagant illustrious tonality and resonance that God and Man ever co-created and there is no doubt that we are serious about these old growth woods and the various species that are amazing for tone in the tonewood art and science of guitar mastercraft virtueous construction . After you play one of these guitars all of your arguments will simply fall to the ground as a waste of time when you experience the astonishing tone , sustain and the feel of the true handmade neck that a Rushmore 1 piece no neck joint has . Limba (Korina) is just about the sweetest lead guitar tone made popular by the Gibson Flying vee in 1958 . Gibson stumbled onto this wood by trying to save money on their prototype designs of the futura (explorer) VEE and moderne guitars , they discovered that Limba ( nicknamed Korina ) was an amazing resonant wood that had a sweeter midrange than mahogany and more resonance ( super Mahogany ). Thanks to their pioneering influence in the designs of the electric solid body guitar and wood combonations we now know today about great tone . For over 20 years the 1 piece guitar was put on hold by corporate greed and frauds who could care less about guitar greatness . Thankfully all my work in this guitar field is paying off finally after an intense struggle with the antiquated buisness models of the past , mainly the mass production glue on and bolt on industry and some bad record companies and managers and musicians I dealt with , nevertheless it's all true - the 1 piece guitar design is better than any other construction technique with the complete opposite approach to guitar builds . We pick only the most sought after and exspensive wood slabs and blanks and spare no exspense on the most lavish and virtueous woods and pick ups - electronics , hardware etc ... The problem with most other companies is they buy the cheaper the better wood buy in bulk dung and japanese or third world construction techniques ?????!!!!! That is the whole problem with almost every other mass production buisness model . We will never compromise our standards and that is our whole reason for existing in the first place ! These guitars are much more virtueous and resonant than any Gibson or Fender ever made including the 59 Les Paul and the 54 Tele's or the earliest strat's now just try to relax - because we designed them that way . We make them like the greatest instrument works of all time for t! The bolt on or glue on is now obsolete . The same spirit of greed in the money grubbing music and guitar mass production buisness has now snuck into and is at work in the vintage guitar market where the more exspensive the guitar the more stupid collectors and musicians pay rediculous prices on a guitar that will always be inferior -like it or not to a Rushmore 1 piece guitar-that is the truth , now just try to relax . Don't hate me just thank me ! We build them more seriously and with absolute integrity principles and THE most virtueous tone transfer to ever grace a six string electric design- Truthfully -as sure as gravity on planet Earth , this is the Gospel Truth whether you like it or not- or disagree or not , argueing about it- Whatever , It is absolute truth and long over due - Halleilujah the ultimate guitar design has finally arrived and it is glorious The electric guitar's best friend- Johnny Rushmore
