Star Fox 64 - Mission 5A - Titania
man i feel like i'm about to vomit rainbows out of my ass there's a bunch of places on this level that you can spam charge shots for extra points but I didn't include them. Pretty much anywhere there's an enemy that can be hit with a charge shot's splash damage from aiming at the ground you can get extra points. Notably places are those big ass walker things that give you 4 points when they die and those annoying laser towers. I'm not sure but I think you're supposed to use charge shots on the boss to move its head out of the way so you can shoot at its chest. |

This monologue is of Asheee as Titania, Queen of the fairies in A midsummer Nightâs Dream from Act 2, Scene 1 - "These are the forgeries of jealousy" The music featured is: Here I Come - Fergie and The Fairyâs Song â John Kelly and Maite Itoiz Leave us your comments and - enjoy! |

Star Fox 64: Titania - 253 hits
Back to Star Fox, Titania is the destination this time, and wow this was a good run. This is one of those runs that beats my real score, and hasn't been topped yet. The only other level i've done this on is Zoness with a 392 using PJ64, but a 384 with the real game. In this case, my N64 score is 247. Not far behind, but not yet topped. So, anyway, I've pretty much got this level in the bag. A few spots that can be improved (missed plenty of fighter squardrons), and some more accuracy practice (didn't get the three +1s off of the 5th walker thing), and I could really get this score up there. It's kinda funny, I have the braking thing pretty much down on Titania and Macbeth, but I can't brake in other levels. I just don't get it. I'll say more later, I have work to do. |

Ambroise Thomas - Mignon - "Je suis Titania" (Ruth Welting)
Though Thomas' works remain largely unknown to the modern listener, two works of his have received several recordings: "Mignon" and "Hamlet". Or, to be more precise, arias from these two operas are quite often featured on recitals. "Mignon" features several such features: the heroine's charming gavotte, the tenor's lyric aria and the present except, a bravura polonaise aria for the antiheroine, the self-centered actress Philine. Narratively, the aria follows Philine as she continues to play Titania in front of her admirers. Basically, the aria just details what it is to be Titania, "the daughter of air". The first section that could be considered the main theme as it returns several times throughout the piece (though never in full, mostly in the orchestration). Philine just states that "I am Titania". After a repeat of the main theme and several coloratura section, a particularly lively section with its almost running doted line wonderfully represents the troops of fairies that surrounds Titania. A contrasting andante section finds Philine imagining the woods where Titania floats in the fields of flowers. Quite imaginatively, Thomas uses a surprisingly funny musical background (just listen to 2:06 - 2:11, the melody is played with effectively) to remind the listener of Philine's rather lightweight personality. After a long wordless coloratura cadenza with orchestra, Philine is left alone to show off all that she's got: ideally, this section should be playful as Philine bubbles her way through an array of coloratura jumps, though the section's difficulty makes some renditions rather too heavy or strained. As I've mentioned before the piece has never been unpopular and has been recorded by many artists: Maria Callas, Joan Sutherland, Natalie Dessay, June Anderson, Janine Micheau, Elizabeth Parcells to name just a few well-known names. But I find myself especially drawn to the portrayal given on the second full recording of the work by Ruth Welting. She offers an all-around best rendition, in my opinion: she's youthful, she's not afraid of heights or to go down the staff, her coloratura technique is brilliant, she even has that incredible smile in her voice that makes the aria become alive. Anyway, enjoy :)! |

Star Fox 64 Soundtrack (HD) - Titania And Macbeth
Sure StarFox is just a game, but it's the level Macbeth that INSTANTLY SPARKED an interest in TRAINS for me..nothing else has ever done that but the Forever Train http://a538.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images01/124/l_f567e6340eb5dd0ab9ee5a5207ecec71.png MACBETH: Machine: Landmaster Level : Medium-Hard Boss : Mechbeth http://a524.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images01/92/l_96ed9c8ae598721cbab26ff4eb8c4e8b.png Planetary Compendium Macbeth is well known as a mineral treasure house. The planet has a relatively large population of miners, who have recently been enslaved by Andross to manufacture weapons and supplies for his armies. Mission Briefing: Macbeth is the industrial key to Andross's military machine. Liberating this planet from his clutches will cripple his ability to produce additional weaponry. In addition, this is the main launching point for the interplanetary cruise missiles Andross has been using to assault Corneria. Resistance fighters on Macbeth have gotten information on a gigantic train that transports minerals and weapons from the mines and factories to Andross's main base and launching area. Although the train's route is well defended, derailing that train and stopping its shipment will be a crippling blow to Andross's plans. MEDAL TIPS: Medal Score: 150 hits Checkpoint Goal: 95 At the beginning of this mission, try to knock out as many of the train's cars as possible. You'll also want to take out the elevated guns as they will sometimes yield bombs. The big payoff in terms of hit points comes from shooting the eight switches at the end of the mission. Successfully hitting all of these targets will cause the train to take an incomplete side spur, which will net you 50 bonus points when it derails. The sixth switch is the most commonly overlooked, since it is hidden behind a gate. TITANIA: Machine: Landmaster Level : Medium Boss : Goras http://image.bayimg.com/majklaabj.jpg Planetary Compendium: Titania is known as the "Red Planet" due to the huge ion storms that swirl dust from the surface of the planet into its stratosphere. Archaeologists have found surprisingly advanced ancient ruins on this planet, and, in fact, a high-tech, planetary defense system, code named "Goras," is still active. Travel to the planet has been prohibited because of to the threat to starships posed by this system. MEDAL TIPS: Medal Score: 150 hits Checkpoint Goal: 60 hits As usual, bombs will help you take out clusters of enemies in this mission. Destroying the lead ships in attacking squadrons with a charged laser bolt will take out the followers with a single shot. Also, if you destroy the lead robot on the right hillside with a bomb, it will sometimes cause a chain reaction with the other robots on the hill. |
