Felix the Cat - The Non-Stop Fright

Felix goes to Timbuctoo to win 50,000 buckaroos. Little does he know, his DIY airplane is about to be hi-jacked by terrorist fish. He finds a way out though, as usual. He also undresses an elephant in order to produce a balloon to escape from the hungry Timbuctoo residents. Again, an elephant. I'm not sure where to place the voice talent on the "BRIAN ENO - POLISH HIGHLANDER MUSIC" scale.

355. Who Needs Reality? (Original)

This comment on modern life and technology was inspired by the songs of Malvina Reynolds. I have put up an incomplete version before, which has now been removed. There were two verses missing. One I had forgotten about and another I wrote later. So here is the finished product. Lyrics: I used to send a postcard Or a letter I would type, But now the world's much smaller With Messenger and Skype. Now you can talk to me And I can talk to you, Though you're in New York City And I'm in Timbuctoo. ...Who needs reality? ...Real life is a bore. ...No reason for reality ...In this world any more. To experience different cultures The means is in your hand. There's no need to travel to Some distant foreign land. One click of a button Can take you anywhere. There's no need to move at all From your comfy chair. Who needs encyclopedias Or libraries indeed. A little bit of googling Will give you what you need. Who needs a neighbourhood? Now everyone depends On YouTube and Facebook To make a group of friends. I'm becoming quite a sportsman, Because it's good for me. My favourite game is tennis -- I play it on my Wii. I don't think I'll get married; You can't beat the effects Of stimulating simulated Super cyber-sex. Outside it could be raining Or perhaps the weather's fine. In my air-conditioned office It's pleasant all the time. Though Western civilization May well be in decline, The real world doesn't matter When you live your life online. A little bit of PhotoShop Will make the grass more green. You can live a second life On your computer screen. A click of the mouse is all you need Until the day you die, When you're finally uploaded To that MySpace in the sky.

Niva Say Never.....across the desert & down the beach

A lada, two vans and a zebra car, cross the sahara desert only to meet the beach!

South Of The Sahara(1984)-miguel bose

South of the Sahara, aching heart. Is that where you'd guess all astronomy starts? We could have more knowledge than we dream, In Heaven and Earth nothing's less than it seems... This could be the circle of the stones, The turn of the card or the rolling of bones, This could be the leyline on the land, The past and the future that cross in our hands, This could close the circle. Double star that hides itself White dwarf behind the Sun - oh, Sirius. The things we can't explain Remain Mysterious. South of the Sahara, Timbuctoo, The back of beyond and the shock of the new, This could be the strangest thing of all, The body of science with its back to the wall South of the Sahara Distant men of logic try to trace The shape of the Bortex, the pattern of space The same as that of atoms, of the mind. Wherever we look it's ourselves that we find, The sand of the Sahara. Double star that hides itself White dwarf behind the Sun - oh, Sirius. The things we can't explain Remain Mysterious The people of the Dogon always knew The extraterrestrials' heavenly view. Stars that dog our passage, holy Suns, Over the centuries, these have become The legend of the Dogon. How do you explain it? How do you begin to explain it all? We could be the leyline on the land, Invisible shifts in the hourglass's sand. We could have more knowledge than we dream, In Heaven and Earth nothing's less than it seems. We could be eternal

Prince Among Slaves (film trailer)

The true story of an African prince who survived slavery in America. In 1788 the slave ship Africa, set sail from West Africa and headed for America with its berth laden with a profitable but highly perishable cargo-hundreds of men, women and children bound in chains. Six months later the survivors were sold in Natchez, Mississippi. One of them, a 26-year-old man named Abdul-Rahman made a remarkable claim to the farmer who purchased him at the auction that he was an African prince and that his father would pay gold for his ransom. The offer was refused and Abdul-Rahman did not return to Africa for another 40 years. During his enslavement he toiled on the Foster plantation, married, and fathered nine children. His story also eventually made him the most famous African in America, attracting the support of powerful men such as President John Quincy Adams. After forty years of slavery, Abdul-Rahman finally reclaimed his freedom, but he defied the order to return immediately to Africa, and instead traveled throughout the northern states, speaking to huge audiences in a partially successful attempt to raise enough money to buy his children's freedom. Finally at the age of 67, and after raising funds to free two of his children, Abdul-Rahman returned to Africa, only to fall ill and die just as word of his arrival reached his former home of Futa Jalloo in present-day Guinea. Abdul-Rahman survived the harsh ordeals of slavery through his love of family and his deep faith as a Muslim.
