Targum Neofiti
The Bible says that God is the same yesterday, today and forever. It also says that God is one being in three parts, Father, Son and Spirit. But was that also the belief of the Jews before Jesus came? Pastor Mark Driscoll explains the Trinity in the Old Testament in this clip taken from the first week of the Doctrine sermon series. The whole sermon can be found at http://www.marshillchurch.org/media/doctrine/trinity-god-is |

Witness to Islam
Koran's BASTARDIZATION OF THE BIBLICAL PATRIARCHS It's ironic in a way. By plagiarizing fairytales and claiming that they were divinely inspired histories, Muslims actually destroyed the credibility of the book they were trying to bolster. And by writing such nonsense, the Jews loaded the gun Muslims are using to kill them. The Talmudic writings were compiled from oral folklore in the second century. They evolved like the Islamic Hadith. So how did these uninspired Jewish Talmudic writings come to be included in the Qur'an? There are two ways, equally likely. After being hauled into captivity by the Babylonians, many Jews elected to stay. In fact, in 1948 when Israel became a state, the fourth largest concentration of Jews was in Iraq. So the Persians who canonized the Qur'an in the eighth and ninth century would have had ample access to them. And we know that Yathrib was principally a Jewish community. According to the Qur'an and Sunnah, Muhammad bought oral scripture recitals from the Jews before he robbed, banished, enslaved, and killed them. Some scholars believe that the Islamic compilers of the eighth to ninth centuries merely added this body of literature to the nascent Qur'anic material to fill it out and make it seem more like scripture because scores of Qur'anic tales have their roots in second century Jewish apocryphal literature. Since the devil is in the details, I beg your patience as we work our way through them. One of the Qur'an's Cain and Abel stories is found in Qur'an 5:30. It begins much as it does in the Biblical account with Cain killing his brother Abel, though Allah doesn't seem to recall their names in this rendition. Yet the moment one unnamed brother kills the other, the story changes and no longer follows the Biblical trail. The Qur'an's variant was plagiarized from books drafted centuries after the Old Covenant had been canonized, after even the Renewed Covenant was written: the Targum of Jonathan-ben-Uzziah, The Targum of Jerusalem, and The Pirke-Rabbi Eleazar. All three are Jewish myths composed from oral traditions between 150 to 200 A.D. The Qur'an says: Qur'an 5:31 "Then Allah sent a raven who scratched the ground to show him how to hide the shame of the dead body of his brother. 'Woe is me!' said he; 'Was I not even able to be as this raven, and to hide the dead body of my brother?' Then he became full of regrets." We find a striking parallel in Talmudic sources. The Targum of Jonathan-ben-Uzziah says: "Adam and Eve, sitting by the corpse, wept not knowing what to do, for they had no knowledge of burial. A raven came up, took the dead body of its fellow, and having scratched at the ground, buried it thus before their eyes. Adam said, 'Let us follow the example of the raven,' so taking up Abel's body, he buried it at once." Apart from the contrast between who buried whom, the two stories are otherwise uncannily similar. We can only conclude that it was from here that Muhammad, or a later compiler, obtained his "scripture." A Jewish fable came to be repeated as a historical fact in the Qur'an. Yet that is not all. We find further proof of plagiarism of apocryphal Jewish literature; this time in the Jewish Mishnah Sanhedrin. The Qur'an reads: Qur'an 5:32 "On that account: We ordained for the Children of Israel that if anyone slew a person - unless it be in retaliation for murder or for spreading mischief in the land - it would be as if he slew all mankind: and if anyone saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of all humanity." The Mishnah Sanhedrin 4:5 says: "We find it said in the case of Cain who murdered his brother, the voice of thy brother's blood cries out [this is a quote from Genesis 4:10, but not the rest...], and he says, it does not say he has blood in the singular, but bloods in the plural. It was singular in order to show that to him who kills a single individual, it should be reckoned that he has slain all humanity. But to him who has preserved the life of a single individual, it is counted that he has preserved all mankind." There is no Qur'anic connection between the previous verse, 31, and that which we find in the 32nd. What does the murder of Abel by Cain have to do with the slaying or saving of the whole people as there were no other people? Yet a rabbi's comments on the verse are repeated almost word-for-word in the Qur'an. The muses of a mere human become the Qur'anic holy writ, and were attributed to God. |

"What REALLY happend in the Garden of Eden?" Pt.2of1
In the Aramaic Targum, pseudo-Jonathan, which shows us that Genesis 4:1 has obviously been tampered with at some point by these evil infiltrators. It should actually be read as follows; And Adam knew his wife Eve, who was pregnant by Sammael (Satan), and she conceived and bare Cain, and he was like the heavenly beings, and not like the earthly beings, and she said, I have gotten a man from the angel of the Mighty Elohim. Lest there be any doubt in the readers mind as to the identity of Sammael in this passage, we read in The International Standard Bible Encyclopedia, according to Jewish theologythe destroyer or angel of death appears under the name Sammael (i.e. the poison of Yahweh), who was once an arch-angel before the throne of Yahweh, and who caused to tempt Eve. |

Sons of God Part 5
The Hebrew of nephilim is נפלים, which may mean "those causing others to fall". Abraham ibn Ezra proposes that they were called this because men's hearts would fail at the sight of them. Some (e.g. Jean Leclerc and Peter of Aquila) suggest that it is derived from the warlike nature of the Nephilim, comparing the usage of Naphal in Job 1:15 "And the Sabeans fell upon them" where Naphal means "to take in battle". Alternatively, Shadal understands nephilim as deriving from the Hebrew word פלא Pela which means wondrous. The Targum Yonathan states that they were given this name because they were descended from fallen angels. The Nephilim come from a union between Sons of God ("bnei ha-'elohim" Lit. "Sons of the powers" and "daughters of man". In Aramaic culture, the term Nephila specifically referred to the constellation of Orion, and thus Nephilim to Orion's semi-divine descendants (cf. Anakim from Anak); the implication being that this also is the origin of the Biblical Nephilim. In the Hebrew Bible, there are a number of other words that, like "Nephilim", are sometimes translated as "giants": * Emim ("the fearful ones") * Rephaim ("the dead ones") * Anakim ("the [long]-necked ones") |

The Story of Zamzam Water
PROPHET MOHAMED DIDNOT COPY QURAN FROM THE BIBLE: If Mohammad borrowed from Judeo-Christian sources, Why does the Holy Quran scold them for the interpolations they inserted in their books and then copy from them? If Mohammed had been copied fromthe Holy Book , he would not have scolded them at least toescape their objections and to win them for his side at least to avoid any confrontation with them. Those who claim that Mohammed copied from the scripture should tell us where was thattranslated copy that he copied from , according to thehistorical authority , there was not any translated copy in the time of the prophet Mohammed or even long after his death? If the Holy Quran copied from the Bible , why does the Holy Quran launch this fierce critique against the Bible concerning the story of Trinity in the Bible but even renounces this fact and most strikingly shows them thesource from which they got the concept of Trinity . The Holy Quran says : .The Messiah is the son of Allah. That is their saying with their mouths. They imitate the saying of those who disbelieved of old." Recent studies and exploration into the ancient religions prove that there were sixteen saviors in the human history , all of them were long anterior of Jesus ,many of the sayings that they ascribe to Jesus were found in the ancient heathen religions? Did Mohammed explore and study the ancient religions and come to the conclusion that the concept of Trinity was inserted in the Christianity. If he was an imposter why did he reject this concept and even corrected it giving good reasons? If Mohummed [p] had copied from the holy book, why did he not copy the story of creation in Genesis , the story of creation in the Holy Quran is mentioned in a way that is completely in agreement with the newly discovered facts. ( Big Bang ,expansion of the universe and the Big crunch is mentioned in the Holy Quran ).Moreover the Holy Quran gives an account to the stories of the prophets and the perished nationsin a way that fills you with ecstasy , sometimes you find theHoly Quran in agreement with some parts of the Holy Books andthen in disagreement with other parts .The story of Joseph is the best example , if you compare these holy books(Pseudepigrapha ,Talmud, Targum ,Midrash) together concerning the story of Joseph you will find a lot ofcontradictions between them and then if you include the Holy Quran you will find that the Holy Quran is in conformity with them in the most reasonable parts ,i.e, it is in agreement withthis part in this book while it is in disagreement with anotherpart in the same book and then you find it in agreement with another book concerning the part it is already in disagreement with the previous one . Did Mohammed read all of these bookstogether? What was that historical criterion on which he based his copy? What litmus paper did he have to check which is valid and which is not? Moreover , the Quranic story is always complete though condensed in a few lines that are replete with meanings that can be classified under many tenets . The Quranic story moves yourheart , fills your eyes with tears , adds spiritual dimensions , set the best examples for the believers to follow when being confronted with hardships of life , The Quranic stories havetheir distinguishing character . The main purpose of the Quranic story is. Correcting the errors and adulteration in the Holy Book. Deeming the prophets high and exonerating them from what they were charged with .Giving the Moslems exemplars to follow Teaching wisdom and moral lessons. Showing that it is only one God who revealed these holy Books. Setting the examples of the perished nations for the Moslem, So many could be said in this context but for the sake of brevity . Enhancing and reinforcing the Moslems will in face of hardships. Concerning the point of copying from the Holy Book, A Christian scholar , now a Moslem, says in his book "I recognized that there were two possibilities: (1) the Prophet Muhammad didsteal his material or (2) the revelation he received was from the same god who sent Moses, Jesus and the earlier prophets, as the Prophet Muhammad himself claimed. If it werethe latter, it would explain why there would be much overlap in the teachings and message. The same God sent the earlier prophets and is simply recounting their stories again in the new revelation. |

Is. 53 is prophecy about the Messiah!
Yesha'yahu (Isaiah) prophesies the coming of Mashiach! This video is hope for you and others as it points the way to salvation found in trusting in Yeshua of Natzeret. Any objections? I sometimes get the objection, what about Isaiah 49:3 where God calls Israel "My servant?" (or similar passages) Answer: A servant means to serve. There can be more than one servant of the Father. The people of Israel are His servant on the earth to show the world His ways. Yeshua also is the servant of the Father in that He does the Father's perfect will and is submissive to Him in that way. He also came to serve others and give His life as a ransom for many. The context of Isaiah 49 shows "coastlands" (vs. 1) and "you peoples from afar." So parts of this show that Israel is God(the Father)'s servant, meaning they do His will. But the context of Isaiah 52:13-14 shows the Servant singular as a man.(vs. 14) "So His visage (appearance) was marred more than any man, and HIS FORM more than the sons of men." The context of Isaiah CONTRASTS the Suffering Servant Messiah with the people of Israel (Is. 53:5, 6, 8, 11, 12). "He bore the sin of many." "He shall bear their iniquities." "He was cut off from the land of the living (death) For the transgressions of MY PEOPLE (Israelites). "He was wounded for OUR transgressions (Israel), He was bruised for OUR INIQUITIES (Isael-and those grafted in, believers); the chastisement for OUR peace was UPON HIM." (vs. 6) And YHWH has laid ON HIM the INIQUITY OF US ALL (including Israel)! This shows that the servant in Is. 52:13 and into Isaiah 53 is clearly Yeshua HaMashiach! References: Isaiah 53 R. The Land Refreshed 18 Then the LORD will be zealous for His land, And pity His people. 19 The LORD will answer and say to His people, " Behold, I will send you grain and new wine and oil, And you will be satisfied by them; I will no longer make you a reproach among the nations. 20 " But I will remove far from you the northern army, And will drive him away into a barren and desolate land, With his face toward the eastern sea And his back toward the western sea; His stench will come up, And his foul odor will rise, Because he has done monstrous things." 21 Fear not, O land; Be glad and rejoice, For the LORD has done marvelous things! 22 Do not be afraid, you beasts of the field; For the open pastures are springing up, And the tree bears its fruit; The fig tree and the vine yield their strength. 23 Be glad then, you children of Zion, And rejoice in the LORD your God; For He has given you the former rain faithfully,[d] And He will cause the rain to come down for you— The former rain, And the latter rain in the first month. 24 The threshing floors shall be full of wheat, And the vats shall overflow with new wine and oil. 25 " So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, The crawling locust, The consuming locust, And the chewing locust,[e] My great army which I sent among you. 26 You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, And praise the name of the LORD your God, Who has dealt wondrously with you; And My people shall never be put to shame. 27 Then you shall know that I am in the midst of Israel: I am the LORD your God And there is no other. My people shall never be put to shame. God's Spirit Poured Out 28 " And it shall come to pass afterward That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions. 29 And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days. 30 " And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth: Blood and fire and pillars of smoke. 31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, And the moon into blood, Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the LORD. 32 And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the LORD Shall be saved. For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be deliverance, As the LORD has said, Among the remnant whom the LORD calls. Footnotes: Joel 2:6 Septuagint, Targum, and Vulgate read gather blackness. Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble; For the day of the LORD is coming, For it is at hand: 11 The LORD gives voice before His army, For His camp is very great; For strong is the One who executes His word.
