SPICULE!!!!!!!!!!

This is one of my first Youtube Poops. It is done in Vegas 7 and I used about 7 different clips. Spicule! is a move that often brings back memories of pain if you have ever played Star Ocean 2, so I decided to do a YTP on it for fun, and I was suprised no one else had already. I threw in the over 9000 part for fun as well ;)

Star Ocean 2: Vesper & Decus (Universe)

This time I made a different video with Dias in place of Chisato. Dias' Air Slash is the most reliable way to interrupt Decus if he attempts to use Spicule right at the beginning of the fight. Even Claude with Bunny Shoes can't get there fast enough if Decus' Motormouth skill kicks in (Spicule will go off an instant before Claude's slash hits). Ashton with Bunny Shoes might be able to do it, though, since his normal attack is slightly faster.

Star Ocean 2:- Solo Bowman - Decus & Vesper

Hey, it's Spicule! Yeah, I had sound recorded for this fight I thought but sadly it didn't come out and i can't be assed recording again. I love how the first Spicule does 0 damage to me with no resistance and the second one I parry, the only thing you need to worry about in this fight is being stoned by Vesper's chargin his laser rocket gun and Blood Sucker/Mind Absorber. And Decus can NOT use a fucking Explode, it did 9999 to me on many occasions and he's immune to fire which also pisses me off because the only way you can connect good attacks is with Explosion Pills, and the cunt comes up to you and starts slugging you like he's fucking Rocky Balboa. lol'd at when Vesper used Tractor Beam on himself, dumb fat cunt.

Star Ocean Boss Series #20- Vesper and Decus

Best viewed in small mode. "Shut up and die!" This is undoubtedly the most difficult (although one of the most fun because of that) battle in the entire main story. Decus uses a variety of deadly fire spells, including the infamous Spicule, which lead me to many a game over screen during my first playthrough. Fire resistance is a must. As if that weren't enough, you have to deal with harrassment from Vesper, whose attacks can turn you into stone. Duel Suits/Stone Checks are helpful against that. Otherwise, keep them interrupted at all times, their attacks are just too deadly.

Easy but a tedious battle. I sorta messed up in the beginning because I thought it was the AOE range but it wasn't.. My square button didn't respond for one of the attacks near the end x_X. I could used a party to defeat him but Soul Crushes aren't very worth it for damage dealing with these weapons I'm using. Also, it would take me longer to defeat him and I run the risk of losing because of Gabriel's Pale Flame or Spicule.. http://files.filefront.com/VP2_GabrielCelesterar/;7094591;/fileinfo.html

Star Ocean 2 Universe Mode -001- Decus & Vesper

HEY IT'S SPICULE!!!! I'm going to record the hardest things the game has to offer in Universe Mode. Most notably the very last battles of the game, Indalecio (Unlimited, I let him absorb Filia this time), and Cave of Trials.

Star Ocean 2:- Solo Bowman - Cyril

Hey, it's Wind of Destruction! This move is the best looking move in the entire game, although the coolest one has to be Spicule, and the most annoying is Divine Comedy/Southern Cross, it's like the Star Ocean version of fucking FF7's Supernova. I swear, you see Divine Comedy happen and you think, great huge explosion, I'm dead.. but no no! There's more.. the energy is compressed into tiny balls that then erupt and then you feel the pain. Cyril occassionally gets immune to all damage shown by 0's on the screen and whenever he teleports he summons lightning that hits about 2-4k. Wind of Destruction is parryable (as shown). And why does Cyril look like Dante from Devil May Cry?. @Indalecio If you're wondering why this video isn't up after Cyril, it's because of how fucking hard he is on solo, with nothing from CoT or insanely high levels. And plus I have "Plate Armor" "Duel Helm" "Star Guard" and "Mithril Greaves" =/ He casts divine wave at least 10 times and when he stops, he starts launching an attack which did 6k damage to me instantly unless parried, and even if you hit him like 10x in a row with poison pills, like I did.. he uses Time of Truth at 300k HP which totally fucks you over, Filia morphs on his back and so does her voice, and he uses Divine Comedy instantly after aswell as being faster, then he spams nothing but Southern Cross and Star Flare which can do 1-3k with resistance, and 5k-9999 without. And wow, Earthquake is very painful, but looks very cool. Imagine a giant Sudowoodo(pokemon) smashing into the ground three times causing giant tremors like Kjata from FF7.

Star Ocean 2:- Solo Ashton - Decus and Vesper

Hey it's Mind Blast! yayadayada Spicule can do 0 or 6000+ or parried, so watch out for it, half of the time he never starts the fight with it and half the time he does, Vesper's blood sucker and mind blast are the only real worries, his rocket projectile attack is a cunt because it stones you. Decus' explode is also a 6000+ hitting move with no resistance/atlas ring. 2:35 LOLWTF DECUS SCREAM. Enjoy.

Churning clouds above the Sun

Read more: http://space.newscientist.com/article/dn13011-roiling-magnetic-waves-explain-solar-enigma.html Cloud-like structures in the background above the Sun churn from the passage of magnetic ripples called Alfvén waves, which may be responsible for the extreme heat of the Sun's corona. Vertical jets called spicules dance closer to the Sun's surface.
