One of only five remaining such presentation swords in the world (one was lost in a fire). At that time, this was the highest honor a soldier could receive.

They dance away from the dawn and it's a solemn dance toward the dark lands, while the rain washes their faces and cleans the salt of the tears from their cheeks." Nils Poppe ... Mia, Jof's wife this scene has been parodied a number of times -- in Woody Allen's Love and Death (1975), Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey (1991) and Last Action Hero (1993), and many commercials.
