This shows how the seawall along Victoria Avenue was damaged by the force of the waves during the storm of 9-10 march 2008. Some 0.24 miles of wall will need to be rebuilt. Filming comment : I'm now converting the video clips to WMV for editing, and although that makes things slightly more blurry here it makes the editing software far more stable to use - so perhaps I haven't outgrown it quite yet. It's doing enough to keep me happy. At the moment I'm editing "deaf" without a clue what the sound is like, so apologies for the glitches and crackles and pops - it's best watched with the sound off, really!

Angela Masciale sings "Princess of Castle Rock" at the Save the Sea Wall event in Marblehead,MA. Our sea wall at Preston Beach was severly damaged by storm and is in desparate need of repair. The Town of Marblehead is currently raising money to repair the wall.

This was filmed on Seawall Blvd., in Galveston, Texas, at about noon, the day of the night of Hurricane Ike. The ocean water has breached the Seawall & is level with the street. The waves are crashing against the seawall and it's like a domino or ripple effect.

This is the last of the videos at the Seawall...I was upclose at the Seawall where cars are generally parked & where the ledge looking down from the street is usually visible. Pretty amazing!

This is the first of a series of short videos to warn visitors to the Isle of Wight of the obvious dangers that the local authorities choose to turn a blind eye to, that can only lead to avoidable tragedies. This is concerning the sea wall at Puckpool, Ryde. There is no barrier along the length of the sea wall which at low tide has an over 10 foot drop onto the beach at high tide the drop is into the sea, these pictures were not taken at high tide but at about two hours after. During rough weather the waves crash onto the wall throwing water, along with stones some of which can be at least four inches across, over it. Apart from the danger of both falling off the wall you can also be hit by the flying stones. There are no warning notices whatsoever. Another great danger here is that this path is also used constantly by cyclists there is one small mention that this is not allowed, at the end of a list of other things, at one end of the wall. This is totally ignored and a constant stream of bikes use the path day in day out adding to the hazards for the legitimate users, added to this there are blind stairwells emerging onto the path at intervals with walls at six feet high so you can walk out to be confronted with a bike speeding towards you.

On the 16.09.06 57303 worked Pathfinder's "The Virgin Territorial" from Worcester to Penzance. I was one of the two Virgin Trains Driver's to work this train, this is some video I shot from Starcross to Dawlish.
