LAST SAMURAI ' COURTESY ' JAPANESE KATANA SWORD

The katana, or the Japanese long sword, refers to a specific type of curved, single-edged sword traditionally used by the Japanese samurai. The weapon was typically worn by members of the buke warrior class and represented the social power and personal honor of the samurai. This beautiful piece is a must have for any collector. Its magnificent glossy black hardwood saya (the scabbard), and a handguard piece are intricately designed as individual works of art. Silver dragons on each side of the handguard are partially covered by black wrappings that match those on the scabbard. The scabbard also features hand craved Japanese Samurai Bushide Code that translates to "Polite Courtesy, Compassion, Complete Sincerity". Excellent collector's piece

Peixe-espada preto de Sesimbra

Commercial add of black scabbard fish of Sesimbra, Portugal This fish had no commercial demand in the mainland of Portugal until the 1980's, but now it is one of the most valued fishes from the fishing town of Sesimbra. Captured with a long-line system characteristic of this place (called "aparelho" or "espinel") it is grilled in such a way that gets a superb taste. Recently, american blues singer Doug McLeoud could't believe that, for dinner, he was being served a simple piece of fish in the dish, and three drops of lemmon, nothing more. After tasting it, he said he would try it back home, but this cannot be replicated: today most of the fish comes from trawler boats, and cannot have the same taste of the fish captured individually on a hook; besides, you need climatic conditions, you need the know-how. If you want to get this wonderful taste of grilled black scabbard fish, you have to taste it in Sesimbra.

Strife MUGEN Anji Mito #7: Shishio Makoto

Anji seemed rather content as the boat pushed free of the dock, starting on its lazy ride down the river. The tall Japanese man had taken a bit of a break from his play with the Kangetsu to do a little traveling. Not for any real reason, it just seemed like a fun idea at the time. As he leaned against the railing and gazed contentedly into the crystal clear waters, Anji's ear caught the small conversations going on amongst the other travelers. One in particular, however, stood out amongst the rest. The voice was dark, and a glance towards the source revealed that the guy wasn't too pleasant-looking either. The woman hanging all over him was rather pretty though. Just goes to show that some guys got all the luck. "Neo City, huh?" the woman cooed. "The technological hub of the world, and it'll soon be mine," the man stated, clenching his fist. The flames that rose briefly from the man's fist reminded Anji a little of Sol Badguy, but the little domination line wouldn't have suited the guy. Tapping one of his Zessen fans against his forehead, he let out a short chuckle. The wind carried it to the man's ears, and the two's eyes met. The bandaged man rose to his feet, the scabbard of his sword clacking against the length of wood he had been sitting on. That woman remained at his side, was she his aide or something? Helping to tend to those insane amounts of bandages crisscrossing his body? "You laugh?" Anji tapped his fan against his upper arm thoughtfully. "Take over a city huh? So ambitious of you." The man growled, not taking Anji's playful needling well, and took a step towards him. "You mock me," the bandaged man stated darkly, "and you know more than you should." Anji let out another short laugh again, tapping his fan against the railing. "You shouldn't discuss such grand designs in an open place like this anyway," Anji countered, the man's over-serious demeanor starting to really grate on him. "Plenty of other people could hear you." "They are wise enough to keep their traps shut," the bandage man hissed, placing a hand on his scabbard. "I'll silence your wagging tongue personally." ~*~ Sorry for mimicking you again on this, Ampchu. It was a spark of inspiration, really. And this could also explain why Mr. Bandages was in such a foul mood in Neo City. I'm sure I could make something up instead if doing this bothers you at all, though, so just let me know if that's the case. Anyway... In truth, I had actually completely forgotten about old Shishio in MUGEN, and watching Amp's video was quite the reminder. I think this is the "fixed" Shishio, but I'm not certain. It was a pain to hunt the guy down, really. Either way, he's quite a handful. As has been stated, he's extremely aggressive, constantly pressing his attack. However, he's also fast on the guard and counterattacks. To deal with such a forward fellow, I decided to take him on with Anji. Anji has a couple attacks that can bypass an opponent's attack and get in his own attack instead. They proved somewhat effective against Shishio, as long as he wasn't doing any of his multi-hitting specials. I opted not to go for a Destroyed (OHKO) against Shishio, mainly due to the fact that's how I ended most of my other fights involving the dancing fighter. Instead, I managed something a little more artsy.
