Muitas das coisas na natureza desenvolveram-se para atrair animais polinizadores. Os movimentos do agente polinizador contribuem para a oportunidade de recombinação genética com uma população dispersa de plantas. A szigeten két mangrove faj él, a Rhizophora mucronata és a Brughiera gymnorhiza. A videókon lehet látni a Thespesia populnea Malvaceae,kis fákat, amely faj eredetileg nem honos a szigeten, viszont a brakk vizes területeken elszaporodtak. Ez a Diospyros tengerparti állomány alkotó, igen erősen elágazó. Ezek a példányok kb 150 évesek lehetnek. A törzsük szép fehér lesz. A szebb példányok a sziget legmagasabb részén (7től 10 m a tengerszint fölött) élnek. A társulásról is jó fotó. Phelsuma ornata (ornate day gekko) Nappal aktív, nappal vadászik rovarokra, és a virágok nektárját nyalogatja. ha jól értettem a vezető magyarázatát, akkor a következő orchideát is. (gekkó megporzás?) 2 fotó Oeniella aphrodite. Ez az orchidea csak Mauritiuson él, a part menti ébenfás maradványokban. A következő két fotó valószínű Ficus reflexa.
