This is an absolutely beautiful resonator made completely from mahogany w/ binding that looks slightly aged. The headstock is slotted which is really rare to find on this guitar anymore. It has been professionally set up and the action is perfect height for fingerstyle or slide. Can be raised up w/ an extension nut and made into a dobro in very easily. I bought this about a year ago and installed several things such as an upgrade cone and a National biscuit bridge to help it sound much more like some of the expensive Nationals out there. I also had some locking tuners installed so that it stays in tune. The stock tuners didn't work at all! It comes with a hardshell case that locks and I just put a new set of Martin strings on it. Right now it sounds pretty bright but the sound mellows out in a couple days of playing which gives you a nice jazzy and blusey tone. The mahogany gives it a thick tone and makes it very lightweight, which is just impossible to get with some of the brass body resonators. I hate to get rid of this but, this day and age it's necessary. Please E-mail me if you are seriously interested and wanna give it a strum.

2006 GTO resonator delete and flowmaster 44 muffler only 6.0 LS2

In this patch I have two Plan B VCO's going into the MOTM Triple Resonator VCF. Each oscillator has it's own output fed from this filter to the left and right inputs of the amplifier. The Doepfer A-149(Source of Uncertainty) is modulating the filter and giving that kind of rhythm like if you spin a quarter. Towards the end of the quarter's rotation you hear it spinning faster. Get it? :) A MOTM LFO is controlling the Clock on the Doepfer A-149.

Growing requests to hear/see what is like with the flapper enabled on the R32 with the resonator deleted. IMHO it does sound better and the Butt dyno seems to be happier since it feels as though the pressure created from having the flap closed at times helps performance. Let me know what you all think!

I made some experiments with my Jomox T-Resonator, toying with some minimal bleeps from Electribe EMX-1. T-Resonator is an outstanding effect/instrument (after tweaking it, I'm not sure which one it is). I bought it a couple of months ago to make some send effect modifications to tracks, which were quite boring. For this video, some extreme settings and a lot of feedbacks were used, so it is not necessarily a good demonstration of this product as such. T-Resonator is a very nice effect, when used with care. Source bleeps can be heard at the beginning and in some locations in the middle of the video. Bass drum is Jomox MBase 01 and hihats are from EMX-1 + Kaoss Pad 3 as send effect. No additional modifications were made to the sound of T-Resonator, but a limiter was used when mixing tracks together. I found there are same kind of videos about T-Resonator from Big City Music and those are better demonstration of this product. I'd always wanted a resonator guitar to play slide on, but couldn't afford one. So a couple years ago I bought an old Alvarez classical guitar with a broken top and cracked headstock to convert into a resonator. The guitar cost me $20. I took lots of pictures thinking I might create a web page of the process, or something, but I never did. So, here's a slide show with narration. A video of me playing the guitar is tacked on at the end. The total cost of the end product was less than $100. Ingredients: One old busted-up Alvarez guitar One 9 inch resonator cone One biscuit bridge One tail piece One indoor grilling pan (cover plate) One cabinet handle Some plywood Lotsa' glue Unrealistic sense of what you can accomplish with your own two hands.
