This clip was taken in Antwerp zoo's bird house. There are four parts to this house: the aviaries around the sides; the well landscaped mixed aviaries fronted by glass; the small bird section where the birds are trapped by light; the small lorikeet aviaries, an aviary for pheasant pigeons, and a view into a large Military macaw aviary. The only Red-flanked Bluetail of the trip, from my 10-day stay on Happy Island in May (most bluetail passage having taken place earlier in the spring)

The baby duiker follows the camera around its exhibit, giving in to its insatiable curiosity.

冬季になりますと、実を求めて多種の野鳥がハゼノキに集まります。ここでは、ジョウビタキ、ルリビタキ、メジロ、モズが観察されました。

This clip is all taken in the forested area near Nanqian. Species included are Crimson-browed finch, Three-toed woodpecker, Common buzzard, Grey-backed shrike, Godlewski's rock bunting, Svertzov's/Chinese grouse, Black woodpecker, White-browed rosefinch, Koslov's/Tibetan babax, Lemon-rumped warbler, Pink-rumped rosefinch, Rufous-vented tit, Glover's pika, Red-flanked bluetail and Grey-crested tit.

ルリビタキは非繁殖期には雌雄に関係なく縄張りを持ち、単独で行動します。この個体は機を窺って他の野鳥とハゼノキの実を採食していましたが、実が食べつくされたあとは、地上で昆虫類や木の実を採食していました。

笹を背景にルリビタキのメスが可愛らしい表情を見せてくれました。

アカハラは地上で落ち葉をかき分けたり、土をほじって昆虫類の幼虫やミミズ等を採食しますが、草木の実も食べます。ここでは、ヒヨドリやムクドリが好むセンダンの実を採食していました。併せて、僅か数秒間ですがルリビタキ（オス）を加えます。
