On February 11, 2007, Archdeacon Kyrillos Ibrahim (Raouf Ibrahim) was ordained a Presbyter in the One, Only, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Orthodox Church of God, serving the Altar at St. Demiana Coptic Orthodox Church in San Diego. The ordination was celebrated by His Grace Bishop Serapion of the Diocese of Los Angeles and Hawaii, and His Grace Bishop Youssef of the Diocese of the Southern United States. Dr. Macaulay trained under Drs. Derek McMinn and Ronan Treacy, the Birmingham, England-based orthopedic surgeons who developed the implant for total hip resurfacing. Hope Academy student, Bethan Neely, plays the postlude on East Liberty Presbyterian Church's newly restored organ. Bethan, who studies with Dr. J. Richard Szeremany, is thirteen years old and also plays the piano and oboe. In January of 2006, the Goulding and Wood Organ Company removed East Liberty Presbyterian Church's 1935 Aeolian-Skinner sanctuary organ, shipping its nearly 8000 pipes and other parts to Indianapolis for restoration work.
