Los Angeles Cosmetic Dentist aka "Artist of the Smile" 90210

Full Mouth Reconstruction Beverly Hills & Los Angeles California Full Mouth Reconstruction utilizing Neuromuscular dentistry as the art and science of using the relaxed position of the muscles of the head and neck to place the jaw into an optimal physiologic position. Twenty-five years of research and clinical experience have shown this technique to be effective in treating patients with various levels of head and neck pain. It is also used in finding the optimal jaw position before restorative dentistry and greatly increases the longevity of restorations and natural dentition. The process involves using a sophisticated computer program to record and interpret tempromandibular joint (TMJ) sounds, masticatory (chewing) muscle activity (EMGS) and the path of movement the jaw follows in function. This information allows us to find the most relaxed physiologic position for the jaw and combined with tomography (specialized jaw joint x-ray) helps determine the best bite for comfort and aesthetics. IF YOU SUFFER FROM: * Headaches * Unexplained loose teeth * Worn, chipping or cracked teeth * Cracking, chipping or breaking dental restorations * Pain or soreness around the jaw joints * Pain in teeth that seems to move around * Neck, shoulder or back pain * Facial pain * Clicking or grating sounds in the jaw joints * Limited movement or locking jaw * Numbness in you fingers and arms * Congestion or stuffiness of the ears THEN WE MAY BE ABLE TO HELP YOU Tempromandibular joint dysfunction (TMD) also referred to as Myofascial Pain Dysfunction (MPD) or tempromandibular joint syndrome (TMJ). This is a chronic illness that affects 75 million people at any one time. There are many people who have no pain but still have occlusal disease (misaligned bite). Worn, chipped or broken teeth, broken fillings, changing position or shape of the smile are all indications that can benefit from treatment. As a chronic degenerative disease, it often takes years to develop. We have new techniques and computerized technology that can help many that have been unable to find relief. People who suffer from TMD have a structural imbalance in their jaw-to-skull relationship. This is caused by a bad bite (malocclusion), which causes the following: * Alteration of the position of the TMJ placing excessive pressure on the joint and tissues around them. * Twisting the jaw into a strained position. This affects the muscles in the face, back, neck and shoulders. To correct this, the jaw is brought back into a muscularly balanced position, through sophisticated computer analysis. In most cases, we can do this without surgery or braces. We invite you to talk with us about how the neuromuscular approach to your dentistry can enhance your life.

What NOT to do in MLM or Network Marketing

http://dnaforwealthreport.com The next Trillion dollar industry shifts due to genewize customized, personalized DNA footprint nutrition. Genetic Variation and Personalized Health One size does not fit all! In recent years, scientists have discovered that each of us have unique "genetically determined" body chemistries. Even small variations in your genes can have a profound influence on how well your body responds to food, physical activity, environmental pressures and how you may be predisposed to a wide variety of other important health and physiologic conditions. Based on over a decade of proprietary and patented scientific processes, we are rapidly accelerating the health and beauty industry into the 21st century. Millions of Americans take food supplements to battle that never ending war to look and feel younger, battle illness, and to just plain feel better. Over half of Americans consume some sort of supplement, without knowing whether or not it works...Sometimes you hear those from the other half say..."What's the use? Those things don't work." We tend to get our information from health care professionals, friend recommendations, and worse...TV commercials. How are we to choose from thousands of nutritional supplements? Most people are left confused and uncertain from the guessing game. How can we be assured of the effectiveness of our nutritional regiman? Are you an average person? Nutritional companies tend to do research on the average person. Those supplements may work for the average person. The Era of "One Size Fits All" is coming to a Rapid End In a book published in the 1950's entitled Biochemical Individuality, University of Texas biochemist, Roger Williams argued: "Each of us has a unique chemical makeup that induces various responses to foods, drugs and the environment. The reason we are unique is that our genes are different." Genomics As a Tool For Wellness We now have an opportunity to catch a glimpse of our unique risk of developing certain conditions through DNA testing. Not only can we determine which areas of health we should be focused on, but also what products will best serve out individual needs in the area of preventative health and anti-aging. Best-selling author, economist and futurist Paul Zane Pilzer, in his book The Next Trillion wrote: "By examining a person's DNA, which can be taken from the mouth with just a small swab or scraping device. It is already possible to predict the probability that a person will develop certain diseases. And soon, based on the recently completed mapping of the human genome, it should be possible to predict every forthcoming disease or condition not caused by external (i.e. diet and exercise) factors. Live Webcast: Myxomatous Mitral Regurgitation

See a simplified, physiologic repair, June 4, 2007 at 3:00 PM CDT (20:00 UTC) From Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Chicago, IL during a live webcast on OR-Live.com The newest addition to Edwards' comprehensive valve repair line, the Edwards Myxo ETlogix annuloplasty ring, is designed specifically to treat patients with myxomatous disease, a degenerative condition resulting in excess mitral valve leaflet tissue. Patients with this disease are often younger and their repair may be quite complex. They are frequently treated with mechanical valves, leading to lifelong anticoagulation therapy and its associated complications and lifestyle compromises. The Myxo ring offers surgeons a better option for these patients.

Cure for the common cold

The cure for the common cold is simple - get rid of the virus. One does this by physically dislodging the virus from the site of infection. In this video, I show you how to get rid of a cold in one day. I also explain how it works. My approach is unique. Instead of suffering the next day and the day after that when symptoms are at their worst, this method can fix you up good; you can probably go back to work the next day feeling something similar to a minor hangover. There would be no residual coughs. How do you know if you may have a cold? From my own experience, I may feel tired. I may be sneezing, having a chill, having a temperature, and definitely having a runny nose. If you watch this video then blow your nose a few times on the second day after you get a cold, you've definitely wasted your time. You need to follow my technique the moment you think you have a cold. You need to blow nose every 5 minutes for at least 50 times. It takes work but it definitely worked for me. At the very onset of a cold, the nasal passage is still clear. Blockage happens by the next day due to a combination of swelling and thicker mucus. If you go home and rest as mistakenly and often advised, you would be incubating the virus, unnecessarily increasing viral load. The opportune time to get rid of the virus is at the very onset of a cold. This technique works by enhancing the effectiveness of the anatomic and physiologic barriers - components of innate immunity. Because innate immunity is amplified by a very large factor, we effectively neutralize the virus. The immune system is made of two components, innate and adaptive immunity. Since we help the innate response along, the humoral response component has very little to do and can finish the job a lot quicker. Until someone comes up with a better mechanism to quickly leverage the effectiveness of the humoral response (vaccines, etc), innate immunity is the best mechanism we have at our disposal. It's something we can readily affect. The cold virus mutates so quickly that the adaptive response has to go through the complete start-up cycle as opposed to starting from memory. This is why it has a lag time. By getting viral load down to a low level, the humoral/adaptive response has an easier task in eliminating the virus (when it eventually kicks in). It also evokes a milder, or even unnoticeable immune response, resulting in less misery. I followed this technique starting from the 2005 cold season. Near the end of 2006, I had cured myself 3 times. This gave me high confidence in the theory. Then it was time to confirm the efficacy for real. I infected myself with a very nasty cold virus. I worked with a sick co-worker instead of avoiding him. I ended up taking a day off while he was out for an entire week. After that he had coughs through the entire month. Pro-inflammatory proteins are the major problem that exacerbates the cold. Sugar is highly pro-inflammatory too. Vitamin A is the strongest anti-inflammatory agent that I know of. So I think the combination of vitamin A and reduction of sugar intake in the winter should mostly prevent or greatly reduce the severity of a cold. Vitamin A can be dangerous so be careful. I meant to make this video a long time ago but didn't because I'm lazy. Then I found Andrew Bravener's video by chance. In it he was suffering with a flu. This gave me some motivation to make the video. Thanks Andrew for letting me spam his videos. Go watch his channel and subscribe. http://www.youtube.com/user/AndrewBravener Oh and my accent really sucked. I didn't realize it would be that bad! What Good is the Church?

Two of the world's most cherished Christian teachers discuss the role and relevance of the Church in the modern world, and how it was originally created in order to preserve the teachings of Christ--with the singular purpose of helping to bring people into the exact same relationship with God that Christ himself had, leading humanity into a space that is truly both "fully human and fully divine." While much of this teaching has been lost in the fog of religious fundamentalism over the centuries, the spirit of this core intention continues to thrive in such beautiful souls as Father Thomas and Brother David, both of whom bring extraordinary humor, grace, and love to a very difficult (and controversial) topic. The discussion uses some terminology from Spiral Dynamics, a system of measuring different value systems as they unfold in human consciousness. Here is a brief summary, including Ken Wilber's current names for some of these levels: Beige: Archaic-instinctive—survivalistic/automatic/reflexological * From 100,000 BC on * "Express self to meet imperative physiological needs through instincts of Homo sapiens." Purple (or Magenta): Animistic-tribalistic magical-animistic Tribal order * From 50,000 BC on * "Sacrifice to the ways of the elders and customs as one subsumed in group." Red: Egocentric-exploitive power gods/dominionist * From 7000 BC on * "Express self (impulsively) for what self desires without guilt and to avoid shame." Blue (or Amber): Absolutistic-obedience mythic order—purposeful/authoritarian * From 3000 BC on * "Sacrifice self for reward to come through obedience to rightful authority in purposeful Way." Orange: Multiplistic-achievist scientific/strategic * From 1000 AD on (as early as 600 AD according to Graves and Calhoun) * "Express self (calculatedly) to reach goals and objectives without rousing the ire of important others." Green: Relativistic-personalistic—communitarian/egalitarian * From 1850 AD on (surged in early 20th century) * "Sacrifice self interest now in order to gain acceptance and group harmony." Yellow (or Teal): Systemic-integrative * From 1950s on * "Express self for what self desires, but to avoid harm to others so that all life, not just own life, will benefit." Turquoise: Holistic * From 1970s on * A sacrifice self-interest system which is still forming For more about Spiral Dynamics and other measurements of Altitude, please see www.holons-news.com/altitudes

Seven Deadly Sins: Anger

I made this video back in September of 2004. The Main Actress is Fermina Martinez and the movie is based on one of the "Seven Deadly Sins" called Anger. Anger is an emotional response to a grievance; real or imagined; past, present or future, based on the perception of the angry person. Rage is extreme anger whether overtly expressed or repressed. Anger is often based on the perception of threat, and it is a frequent emotional component in the fight or flight response, which is part of the broader stress response. Anger may be seem "provoked" (or triggered) by perceived threats, like conflict, or by abstract concepts such as injustice, humiliation and betrayal among others. Anger is an active and passive emotion. When "active" an angry person can "lash out" verbally or physically at an intended target whether justified or not. When "passive" anger is often demonstrated in silence, sulking, passive-aggressive behavior (hostility) and tension. Physiologically, human beings (and animals) exhibit physiological effects of increased epinephrine and cortisol, thereby producing heightened stress levels. Hormonal changes can also increase the potential for one to become angry. Common contributors to irritability include fatigue, hunger, pain, sexual frustration, recovery from an illness, or the use of certain drugs; hormonal changes associated with PMS, birth, and menopause, physical withdrawal, bipolar disorder. Research suggests some individuals may be genetically predisposed to higher levels of anger. However, generational behaviors relative to primary care givers' responses to anger actually have a much larger influence in "predispostion" to anger. A practical explanation of the components of anger: The behavior that manifests and the physiological state (or sequence of physiological events that occur) when (1) An individual attributes to another person/organization/object a source of pain/deprivation (present or anticipated), and (2) Chooses behaviors (physical or cognitive) to stop or oppose it. The key here is the choice to oppose the source of the pain. Without opposition, we would be left with fear behaviors (running away in the face of pain, for example). The pain/deprivation does not have to be a physical pain/threat, it can be emotional pain or abstract (i.e. being lied to) The source of pain can be directed at objects (i.e., the Universe,). Because there is pain, however, does not mean anger is necessarily present (for example, bumping a nose into a glass pane, and feeling embarrassed). The 'opposition' to pain does not have to be physically visible. The person can simply think "I want this to stop," or "I am against this." An example of an observable behavioral measure could be attempts to verbally communicate one's pain (often in a loud voice). Humans often exhibit anger behaviors empathically. For example, reading an article about a minority experiencing racism. We are not the victim, per se. Anger is usually magnified and extended in time when a cognitive decision is made about the intent of the individual (or organization or object) attributed to causing the pain. In other words, if we decide the pain/deprivation was intentional, "deliberate," the emotion is usually more intense. When anger is used to "suppress opposition" though emotional bullying or violence, the "bullier" and "bullied" often fail to realize that the root of ALL anger is fear. The "angrier" and more "enraged" an individual appears, is in direct proportion to the fear the individual is experiencing. Thus, the angrier the individual, the more fearful.
