A Mel Gibson film,one of my favourate films,and I love the music very much,so,I made this. The Patriot tells the story of Benjamin Martin (Mel Gibson), a widowed father of seven children, as he tries to keep his family together during the Revolutionary War. He had fought in the French and Indian War, since married and started a family. He has tried to put his actions in that war behind him, but still carries some guilt and regret from those actions. He fears that his past will come back to haunt him. When war breaks out, his eldest son Gabriel (Heath Ledger) joins the fight against his wishes. Benjamin soon ends up reluctantly joining the fight as well. His successfully leads a militia band against the British until Colonel William Tavington (Jason Isaacs) is ordered to do everything he can to capture or kill Martin and his South Carolina militia.

A brief history of the Patriot Act, showing the many deceptions brought in by the Bush Administration, including: requesting total secrecy form public input and swapping at the last moment, the original Bill that Congress agreed to sign, with one manipulated by the Administration. The Administration's version of the Bill contained unconstitutional provisions that had been rejected earlier by Congress. Regardless, Congress rushed to pass an, otherwise, unread Bill which sought to greatly expand all federal law enforcement powers -- far beyond their intended means. Hence, America would later discover that the Patriot Act had little, if anything, to do with fighting the actual "war on terror" and much more to do with bypassing the civil protections, granted under the US Constitution. MSNBC - November 11, 2008 - Bush is quietly attempting to finalize last-minute executive regulations that go beyond the current Patriot Act and make it legal for law enforcement agencies to start "gathering intelligence" and creating files on people who aren't the subject of any criminal investigation. He's trying to get these regulations in place within the next 9 days so that they will have been on the books for a full 60 days before Obama takes office; that way he can't easily overturn them. I've said it before and I'll say it again: Bush and Cheney are at their most dangerous when no one is paying attention.
