19.09.2005 Menjelang pelaksanaan puasa, jajaran kepolisian di Tanah Air meningkatkan razia di berbagai tempat yang diduga dijadikan tempat praktik maksiat. Begitu juga dengan yang dilakukan jajaran Kepolisian Resor Kota Pangkalpinang, Bangka Belitung, baru-baru ini. Tim mendatangi sejumlah rumah yang diduga sering mengadakan praktik terlarang. Kepala Bagian Operasional Polresta Pangkalpinang Komisaris Polisi Hermawan menyatakan, selain untuk menjaring penggunaan dan peredaran narkotik dan obat-obatan berbahaya, razia juga untuk menjaring para pekerja seks komerisal (PSK) yang masih di bawah umur. Maklum, pihaknya sering mendapat laporan bahwa di beberapa tempat prositusi terdapat PSK yang masih di bawah umur. Diduga, mereka korban penipuan oknum yang menjanjikan memberikan pekerjaan. Dugaan warga itu terbukti. Saat operasi pertama difokuskan ke kawasan lokalisasi Parit Enam Atas dan Parit Enam Bawah, polisi berhasil mendapatkan dua orang pekerja seks komersial yang masih di bawah umur. Sementara di tempat berbeda yaitu di lokalisasi Teluk Bayur, polisi kembali mendapatkan tiga orang PSK yang juga masih di bawah umur.

27 Agustus 2008 04:20 WIB Purwokerto: Puluhan pekerja seks komersial (PSK) dan pasangan mesum di Banyumas, tadi malam, terjaring operasi yang digelar Satuan Polisi Pamong Praja Purwokerto, Jawa Tengah. Razia diharapkan bisa menghentikan operasi para PSK di bulan Ramadhan. Razia digelar di hotel-hotel sekitar terminal lama Purwokerto. Operasi ini cukup mengejutkan para PSK. Beberapa di antaranya bahkan menolak ikut ke mobil petugas. Di wilayah ini, petugas berhasil menciduk sejumlah PSK dan pasangan mesumnya. Dari sana, petugas kemudian melanjutkan razia ke warung remang-remang di sepanjang Jalan Perintis Kemerdekaan. Petugas mendapati sejumlah PSK sedang mangkal. Petugas segera menciduk para PSK dan dinaikkan ke mobil. Namun, sebagian PSK berhasil kabur saat mengetahui ada razia. Mereka yang terjaring kemudian dibina di Kantor Satpol PP Purwokerto

12 Juni 2008 02:03 WIB Karawang: Sejumlah lokasi prostitusi di Karawang, Jawa Barat, dirazia tim gabungan satpol pamong praja, tentara, dan polisi, Rabu (11/6). Di sana diduga sebagai tempat peredaran Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV). Sebanyak 46 pekerja seks komersial terjaring dalam razia. Salah satunya Ega Wulandari. Gadis berusia 16 tahun ini histeris saat petugas masuk ke dalam kamarnya. Saat itu Ega sedang bersama tamunya di Lokalisasi Kobak Biru, Karawang. Mereka yang terjaring kemudian dibawa ke Lembaga Rehabilitasi Palimanan, Cirebon, untuk dibina. Razia sengaja digelar untuk memerangi penyebaran HIV. Pasalnya, hingga kini sudah 152 warga Karawang terjangkit HIV. Mereka terjangkit penyakit mematikan ini akibat sering "jajan" di luar.

29.05.2008 Satuan polisi pamong praja (Satpol PP) Kota Bogor, Jawa Barat, Rabu (28/05/08), menggelar razia pelacur di kawasan Ciawi. Namun sulit bagi Satpol PP membedakan antara penduduk setempat dan para pelacur. Apalagi, sebagian tak membawa kartu tanda penduduk. Akhirnya siapapun yang mencurigakan dijaring, meski sebagian menolak keras dengan cara berteriak dan menangis ketika dibawa paksa. Untuk menghindari kejaran Satpol PP, para pelacur pun tidak kehilangan akal. Seorang wanita bahkan mencoba peruntungan dengan menceburkan diri ke dalam kali. Namun petugas tak mau kehilangan begitu saja. Pelacur yang melarikan diri dikejar. Penyisiran pun terus dilarukan. Namun hanya 11 pekerja seks komersial yang berhasil ditangkap karena diduga razia sudah bocor. Nantinya, para pelacur itu akan dikirim ke panti rehabilitasi untuk dibina. Namun di salah satu sudut jalan, petugas menemukan seorang anggota TNI yang memukuli seorang perempuan. Diduga, sang wanita adalah istrinya yang kerap keluar malam tanpa izin sang suami. Petugas akhirnya membiarkan anggota TNI itu membawa istrinya
