I was shocked to see the appalling condition of Mirik Jheel

Well, this is not the fieldwork exactly, but a very very interesting part of the fieldwork - luxurious forest guest houses & beautiful locales!!!

A lot of masti we did. I was with my boss and colleauge. We enjoyed a lot and its a beautiful place.

Beautiful "Sumendu lake" bisected by "Indreni Pull". Boating on the quaint shikaras and pony riding are enjoyable. The most amazing thing is the cloud making the sky opaque too often. The road side view is amazing on the way espatially the Tea Gardens and Pine Trees.

This video is dedicated to those who had lost their lives in Natural disaster in in Ghaiyabari, Mirik , Darjeeling, India on 8th July 2003. Where more than 50 people including women and children became the victims of it.
