This is me playing muse's knights of cydonia on the mellophone. I'm practicing mellophone fingerings and technique for the upcoming school parade. Also, I don't have anything else to play on right now but the school mellophone because my French horn is in the shop for repairs. I apologize for the bad sound quality. The sound gets distorted in the higher ranges. Youll know what I mean when you hear it. Also, I couldn't do it in one take because this stupid camera only takes short clips. RRRRRR!

I got bored the other day and learned the mellophone solo from the 88 Madison Scouts show. Played on a Yamaha Bb french horn, so the intonation is a little shoddy in the upper register. Enjoy.

umm, The French Horn player got one of those party noisemaker things stuck in his Marching French Horn. The guy in the video spent like 30 minutes trying to get it out, gave up and started doing this, then eventually got it out with a brass instrument cleaning tool.
