I thought I'd upload this because it's a song in my repertoire which I really enjoy playing and others enjoy hearing me play it. Feedback is much appreciated as there are always ways I can improve! The Ocean and the Sun is the third album of the Los Angeles-based progressive rock band, The Sound of Animals Fighting. Rich Balling has stated in interviews that it will be similar to the Tiger and the Duke EP. The band has also gone back to its original number of just four: the Nightingale, the Walrus, the Lynx, and The Skunk. On May the 21st, the band posted a bulletin on Myspace under the title "THE OCEAN AND THE SUN" that said: "the new album, as of yesterday, is finished and mastered. yay!" The album is now confirmed as being released on September 9th, 2008. TSOAF put this up on their Myspace few days ago. Hear this heroic tune playing as captain Jack Sparrow sails into the bay of Port Royal in the first Pirates Of The Caribbean movie. The song is named "The Medallion Calls" on the soundtrack. I always wondered about the naming of the songs on this soundtrack, because the names don't fit with the scenes in the movie the songs are used for. This video was a request by AwEsOmEXxXeRiC. I should say that I don't want to do any other PotC songs for now; it's great music, but I want some variety in my MPC videos.
