The Malmedy Massacre occured on December 17th,1944. Over seventy American GI's were fiendishly murderer by Jocham Peiper's SS Troops. This exerpt is from Ryan Little's film "Saints and Soldiers".

The Chief Prosecuter examines Peiper on the witness stand at Dachau during the Malmedy trial. Specifically the prosecutor is questioning Peiper's testimony that civilians fired on him and his column. Not heard, how Peiper could tell these were civilians and not American soldiers.

On the 16th of December 1944 Germany launched their last major counteroffensive known as the Battle of the Bulge. One day later an American convoy gets ambushed. The soldiers surrender, but they get executed in a field nearby. Two months later 81 bodys were found under the snow.

Peiper receives his sentence. "It's so long ago now. Even I don't know the truth. If I had ever known it, I have long forgotten it. All I knew is that I took the blame as a good CO should and was punished accordingly." — Jochen Peiper Forty-two of the accused were sentenced to death by hanging, including Col. Peiper. Peiper made a request through his defense attorney that he and his men be shot by a firing squad, the traditional soldier's execution. His request was denied.

A survivor of the "Malmedy Massacre" is ask to identify the person who fired the 1st shots. Not shown in the clip is the witness standing up, going over and correctly identifying SS-Sturmmann George Fleps, an ethnic German from Romania, as the person who fired the first pistol shots. Fleps was a gunner in SS-Oberscharführer Hans Siptrott's lead tank. Jochen Peiper is taunted during the Malmedy Trial by the prosecution. In the end of the clip which is cut off before translation he tells the lead prosecutor he. " also never saw any babies shoot at him in Russia.". According to the official transcripts Peiper testified for a full day and was the only senior officer to do so. It was his intention to assume full responsibility for the massacre and spare his men. He was not allowed to do so.

This exerpt from the award winning film "Saints and Soldiers", portrays the aftermath of the Malmedy Massacre. This film was directed by Ryan Little, Produced by Adam Able, Excel Entertainment, and Go Films.

Bill O'Reilly will tell any lie, no matter how disgusting, in order to justify or excuse horrendous behavior by or stemming from the Bush regime and its crimes. Last week, MSNBC's Keith Olbermann owned the Faux News liar-in-chief for his latest obscenity: smearing the memory of American soldiers sixty years in their graves, soldiers who were brutally murdered by the nazis in WWII. Watch the video, you'll see what I mean.

While O'Reilly was debating Wesley Clark on his FOX show, Bill once again was short on the facts. Keith Olberman exposes O'Reilly for TWICE claiming that US forces massacred SS German troops in Malmadey during WW2 when in fact it was the other way around.
