This is from Warped Tour 08 in Bonner Springs, Kansas on July 2nd 2008. A couple of things to note about these 6 videos... 1. The set list went as follows A. Bloodmeat B. The Dissentience C. Nautical D. Limb From Limb E. Sequoia Throne F. No Stars Over Bethlehem 2. The reason I note this is because this is technically my first editing job with a program I am highly unfamiliar with. I tried to include all the extra bullshit Rody talks about and the general band shenanigans...but some songs might start on one song and then continue on the next. But I promise, it's only the first couple of seconds of a song on one or two of the videos. Otherwise, the edits serve their purpose. 3. I know I am not an expert camera man. I recorded these videos because I LOVE Protest the Hero and have always wanted a LIVE set recorded to call my own. In fact, it was the first time I saw them. I am sharing this simply because I know a lot of people would dig it. I like to give back to my fellow PTH fans on the net. So if there's any shaking in the video, it means I was into the music and groovin' a little bit. 4. I would have liked to have gotten more (of their) stage left guitar and it shows in a couple of the songs but overall, it was a great set. 5. Sorry for the time stamp. I can remove it on any future videos but it doesn't really hinder the video, IMO. Perhaps I'm just happy to have an awesome set of theirs on video. 6. Enjoy.

This video clip is a short segment of a story of a young woman getting a special custom cosmetic cover for her above the knee prosthesis that I directed and produced when I was with Otto Bock Orthopedic USA. I became involved with John Sabolich early on while I was at Otto Bock because of my own work on an AK socket deign and cosmetic finishing technique. The finishing technique has become the industry standard for cosmetic covers getting away from the shoulder butting technique, but it is often bastardized today to cut corners and save money. The video clip is showing the finished technique applied to the prosthesis of the patient who inspired the idea. Some joke around and call it the terminator hand. This is an incredible new piece of technology! One can only imagine, the possibilities. After seeing the end of the vid, how they compare intelligence with dexterity - it makes you wonder, with our current technology and people always at the computer, moving their fingers at hyper-speed hitting individual targets/keys... where we are headed. This is fantastic! The hands are fitted with a realistic silicone outer skin, which also helps for adding extra grip. I did some research on it because what got me curious was how can it sense anything... be touch sensitive. Then I found out it doesn't have any senses, but hopefully one day we will get to that point so that the prosthetic device is even more useful. I have had many ideas myself for how to enable this on a prosthetic device - the only problem is getting the money and funding to test out the ideas. Hope you like the vid.
