Scoliosis surgery causes a LOT of trauma to your body. It forces your body into shock making organs and muscles move out of place. Your skin becomes all dry (mine still is at 6 months post op). For girls, your periods become irregular. Alot of unrelated pain is caused by the surgery. I know some uys don't care, but this is a serious thing affecting the WHOLE of my life in every possible way. I can't ride a bike, run, bend, lift, twist, jump, dance, go on a trampoline, sit up in bed... or live a normal life.
