This video belongs to their hit song 'I Miss You'. Klymaxx was an all-female band formed in 1979. The track "Wild girls" was the first production by the duo Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis in 1981, it appeared on L.A.'s Solar label.

From January of 1986, Klymaxx performs their hit song "I Miss You". It was one of the biggest records of that year and sounds just as good today. One of a few all women bands that had great popularity and chart success. They were one of two that scored big in '86 with the Bangles being the other having a hit later that year. Klymaxx consisted of drummer/founder Bernadette Cooper, vocalist Lorena Porter, bassist Joyce Irby, keyboardists Lynn Malsby and Robbin Grider and guitarist Cheryl Cooley.

This song is from the soundtrack for the 1986 movie, 'Running Scared'. Klymaxx is a female R&B/Funk Band formed in Los Angeles, California in 1979. The group consisted of drummer Bernadette Cooper, vocalist Lorena Porter, bassist Joyce 'Fenderella' Irby, keyboardists Lynn Malsby and Robbin Grider and guitarist Cheryl Cooley. Klymaxx became the first and last all-female band in R&B/Funk music to all play an instrument. Their string of hits from the 1980s include: Men All Pause, Meeting In The Ladies Room, I Miss You, Man Size Love, Divas Need Love Too, I Still Say Yes (which was written by Babyface). Their only hit from the 1990s was the new jack swing influenced song, 'Good Love' in 1990. Bernadette Cooper and Joyce Irby left in 1989 to pursue solo careers. Cooper formed the female singing groups, Madame X and Altitude in the late 80s. Irby was responsible for starting the career of current R&B artist, Lloyd. Lloyd was once a member of the short lived teen-group, N-Toon, which was put together by Irby and signed to her record label in the mid 1990s. The original members of Klymaxx have recently reunited and have been perforning at venues around the country during the 2000s.
