This irreverent take on popular culture, satirises the media through a series of trailers for films that don't exist. Mimicing the short, quick hits so commonly employed to grab the attention of today's attention deficited public, the film goes from slasher horror, to action adventure, with some contempory spoofing inbetween. The horror film tells of a cursed university hall of residence, where failure to pay fees results in lethal consequences. The action adventure tells the story of the legendary Kakemono Oe Oe, a vagabond who had lost her way. She is taken in by the wise master and taught much in the way of the ancient martial arts. But soon she has to defend for herself against the evil Nancy Boy and his highly trained bunnymen. Straight to Video took the award for Best Effects at St Andrews' CampusMovieFest in 2004.
