We got shafted today. Went down 3-0 to a good Kaiapoi side. We had the chances to take the game put some poor finishing kept us scoreless. I have no doubt we can beat those guys next round. Sam, Max and Seth all had narrow misses in the first half which should have taken the game for us if we nailed 1 or 2 but it wasn't our day. 0-0 at half-time and some weak defence let them go 1-0 up early in the second. With 20 to go they got their 2nd and we pushed some more players up on attack which only saw us concede a 3rd with a few minutes to go. Pitch 3 at Kendall park is a joke with the field only a few metres wider than the goal box which didn't help our game at all seeing as we have some class players when they can get the ball in space but it just wasn't possible today. Mainland Football/City Council sort it out. Burwood park and Ray Blank 2 are both a joke as well. All round a pretty poor display and we are going to have to be on our game next week if we want to get a result against Woolston.

Clinical performance. In the space of 13 minutes, we became 3-0 up. Its a bummer about the sun during the 1st half - couldnt get any good footage (all is from the 2nd half). For the 1st time ever, I saw a tap-in goal from 1-metre out be made to look difficult. As Jimi Says, everyone had a good game! Matt scored a ripper of an out-swinger tho I might have to give myself MOTM. Well done mate. luv it

Bad result for the boys, their 1st goal took me by surprise. We had been dominating. After seeing the game, I realised how badly I fucked up by not shooting when Pettet put in a perfect through ball. Dobbo flew in for a wicked header, only to be denied by some guys leg. Damn - that looked good Dobbo. Nozza reckons he's out for the season. Playing against the shit Woolston team this weekend, the last 3 games are against the bottom 3 so dont f&*k it up or its yur ass
