The original Capcom WW2 era vertical scrolling shooter is back with 1942 Joint Strike on the XBLA. This review covers the gameplay, the graphics and sound and shows of the game's use of 3D 3-dimentional backgrounds in a 2D shooting game. This is a SHMUP (shoot 'em up) much like Ikaruga or Radiant Silvergun, some of the best SHMUPS ever made. Pilot your WWII era fighter plane against wave after wave of enemy bombers, mine layers and other fighter planes. Shoot them down with an arsenal of cool weapons like the spread shot and laser beam. Collect power ups, play with a friend and have a great time. It's great to see companies like Capcom releasing games on the 360 and on the Sony Playstation Network for the PS3. I played 1943 on the NES Nintendo right before recording this review so I was down with the 194x if you know what I mean. A maniac shooter from a past that doesn't exist. You can get Gamer Points too. Hooray. I think this is also on the Playstation Network and not sure if they'll use it for Home or not. Not sure if it is on VC Virtual Console on Wii either. Longest AMV we've done 3. First AMV made for a battle against another user 4. Our First Revenge Studios Video 5. First AMV using female characters/ singers there's more but ya know, what's the point really lol. Both of us agree this is better than our Rollin Remix which most people will probably agree. But i digress.....this video was a PAIN IN THE ASS, it would've been 10 times easier if we didn't have to do the colors but noooooo we just HAD to do it like that. We had to find pictures, add them together, and place who each person was in their own color, and that's only the first like 4 seconds. Every verse.......let me repeat that.......EVERY VERSE caused us problems, every hook caused problems, everything about this amv was troublesome but we stuck with it and pleased with the outcome. Couple of fun facts: when Mary says "I gotta thank everyone for copping the Breakthrough" that's the actual Breakthrough CD Cover, i just cut Mary's image out and added Videl's During the hook after Lloyd Banks verse there's one part where there's no color, at first it was a detail i missed but after seeing it i decided to keep it instead of add the color Busta Rhymes in the actual video for Touch It remix has Red during his first verse then yellow, now we had to make the color like a dark piss-yellow since other types of yellow were just too bright In the actual Touch It Remix video everyone had a different colors, Busta had red/ yellow, Banks had blue, etc...... and we just followed the colors used in the actual video -------------------------------------------- There's some people we gotta thank, note that most of these thank you's have nothing to do with this video so here we go: hmmm...... i'm gonna have to thank xHyuugaHinatax (formerly Animegurl101) for making such a great Hinata amv when there's so few good ones and she's my (BG) fav character so........yea Dermax for being the number 2 Sasuke hater, yes Dermax NUMBER 2, you'll never hate sasuke as much as me but thanks for trying Sasuke093 for inviting us into Revenge Studios, the people in the group make great amv's so check em out...........lol that's funny that i say i'm the number 1 Sasuke hater and yet i'm thanking a dude who's user name is Sasuke093 JayDee411 for suggestion we should do an amv battle, it was originally gonna be a two on two with 1 amv from me and one from D.A. vs. one from him and one from his brother, but after everything we decided to do one joint project instead D.A. wants to thank SSJ2Reborn for his "I'll be there" AMV, every chance he gets he watches that AMV and because of it he now likes the songs as well lol, that's when you know an amv's good when people start liking the song because of it let's see........hmmmmm i can't think of anyone else right now but if i do you'll be added Honors: #61 - Most Discussed (Today) - Film & Animation - All #76 - Top Favorites (Today) - Film & Animation - All #59 - Most Linked (Today) - Film & Animation - All
