INFO: Synopsis of the ITIL(r) V3 Foundations class I took

I very recently completed a 2 day foundations class in version 3 of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL). The following is a synopsis of what I learned in that class. A 2 day foundations class on ITIL is certainly not a comprehensive treatment of ITIL and in no way prepares one to be fully competent in it. It is a very general overview of the core ITIL concepts and processes. The quality of the ITIL foundations classes does vary somewhat from vendor to vendor. I found the 2 day ITIL foundations class to be too fast paced, filled with terminology, excessive acronyms, somewhat incongruent.
