We went for a parasail out of Capt. Dick's on the Eagle One at Murrells Inlet, SC. With 11 intrepid souls on board, we all had a shot at the sky.

Fishing for large Salmon is what Rivers Inlet British Columbia is all about. Once the site of McTavish Salmon cannery, fish up to 83lbs have been landed and photographed at the resort. In 2004 the World Record on 6lb line was set directly in front of the resort.

Another in the Boomer and Melinda Vacation series. In this one, they trailer their boat and take a ferry to the sunshine coast in British Columbia. Then it's about a 1 hour drive to Egmont where they launched their boat and stayed overnight. After a restful night in the A-Frame cabin on the ocean, they headed off in the boat north up the Jervis Inlet. After about 2 hours they reached the small opening on the east side. It looked like the mouth of a small river. As you got really close, it opened up. It is the Malibu Rapids. About a 7-10 knot rapid must be passed to gain entry into beautiful Princess Louisa Inlet. There is much interesting history to this one of a kind place on earth. The inlet itself is sheltered, protected salt water and is 7 km long. It is 1/2 mile wide and 1000 feet deep, this magnificent granite-walled gorge has snow-tipped mountains that rise sharply from the water's edge to heights in excess of 7000 feet!! It truly is one of this planets secret gems. Boat access only. No roads for miles. These shy, beautiful and loving whales were just put on the endangered species list. Their numbers dropped from 1300 to less than 300 recently. I made this film two years ago in hopes that someone would hear their desperate cries. They have. Yay!

The non surfers featured are some of our friends and locals from the area. The summers were one big party. The Sabastien inlet shots on the second half of the video include me and the rest of Florida surfers. I would like to say those days we had uncrowded sessions but the inlet always had a crowd.
