The '4 in 1' Record. British Homophone Co.Ltd. 1932.

The Four in One record provided two dance tunes to each side of the music. This was achieved by a finer groove, giving more playing time. I hear that on a Gramophone sound box these records have a tendency to be rather over amplified!. Here is the selection; 1.) Three's a Crowd. 2.) Walkin' on Air. It is listed as Ray Starita and his Ambassadors and The Twelve Ryhthm Monarchs. This was recorded in London on September 15th 1932.

gohan vs cell

Son Gohan(孫 悟飯) is a fictional character in the Dragon Ball Z manga and anime series by Akira Toriyama and Dragon Ball GT. He is the first son of Son Goku and Chi Chi and was the first Saiyan/Human hybrid born. He is named after Goku's adoptive Grandpa Son Gohan. Gohan's name is a homophone for gohan (御飯), the Japanese word for cooked rice which also refers to meals in general. In Mandarin, the reading of 悟飯 is homophone for 午飯 (wûfàn), meaning lunch. Gohan is a shy and studious intellectual, who harbors a vast potential that transcends even his father's. However, Gohan does not possess the feirce desire of competition as pure Saiyans do, which results in his unwillingness to harm others regardless of how evil they are. This reluctance for harming others is contradicts his determination to protect the ones he loves. Gohan as an adult is obsevered to grow out of this as he gets stronger, however, he never developes a strong desire for competition. As peace is restored after the events of Majin Buu, Gohan abandons his responsibilities as a Z fighter and becomes one of Dragon World's most accomplished scholars.

The Plaza Record. Betcha Life I Do. Twelve Cavaliers.1933

"Betcha' Life I Do" The Twelve Cavaliers (Oscar Rabin & His Romany Band).1933. The Plaza Record was manufactured by the British Homophone Company whose most famous label was probably the Sterno record. Like Crystalate they offered good quality recording at low prices on labels such as the '4in1', 'Solex' and 'Homochord'. The Sound Wave Gramophone trade journal in 1933 was inviting record dealers to 'beat the large multiple stores at their own game' and to 'stock the Plaza 6d record'.The popularity of Woolworths with their large selling Eclipse label was evidently in mind here. The same advertisement gave the following prices Sterno at 1s and 6d, Homochord at 1 shilling (both 10 inch) and the Plaza (8inch) for sixpence. British Homophone was eventually bought out by Decca in 1935 and the labels were withdrawn from sale. I love these little humble Plaza's especially when it is noted that the bands behind these pseudonyms such as 'The Twelve Cavaliers' and 'Dick Rose & His Band' are actually musicians of the highest calibre of Charlie Kunz & The Casani Club Orchestra, Sydney Lipton & His Grosvenor House Band and as on this record Oscar Rabin's Band. Oscar Rabin's early thirties records are very good indeed and probably greatly overlooked, Lets have a re-issue someone?. The last one I recall was on the Burlington L.P series in the late 1980's. This was recorded on October 12th 1933 with vocal by Oscar Rabin stalwart Harry Davis.

杰作! 佳作! 观众点评有周星驰的喜剧味道. 比武招亲: 加拿大选手甘泽尘在2008年湖南长沙举办的第七届汉语桥世界大学生中文比赛决赛中! Canadian contestant Andrew Gibb in final in the 7th Chinese Bridge Competition, Changsha China. This is a typical Chinese Kungfu drama, except here is a hero saved by a beauty instead of a beauty saved by a hero. (~:o))) Andrew has a sister named Gan Zhe Tian: meaning Sugar cane sweet!
