May 2007 on a windy day 2000ft above Grasmere. Walked from Grasmere then very steep at the lower part of Stone Arthur easing towards the summit. Planned to continue along to Great Rigg and Fairfield. Cloud, rain, strong wind, shear drops and rocky path near the summit of Great Rigg caused us to turn back at 2400ft rather than go on to Fairfield as planned. Great walk though - 4 hours from Car Park and back.
