Accompanying The Ambrosian Junior Choir with soloist, James Rainbird, this clip features the paintings of Ivan Aivazovsky, Mary Cassatt, Leonardo Da Vinci, Gustav Klimt, photos from Spielberg's "Empire of the Sun," and the visual arts of Spadecaller. A childhood interrupted by the harshness associated with war, abandonment, and the loss of a mother and father is a powerful and transfiguring occurrence. On some emotional level most of us can relate. I believe Spielberg's "Empire of the Sun," captures that experience. Suo Gan is a Welch lullaby of unknown origin.
