Pale - Cloud Strife x Aerith Gainsborough

I had never heard a song by Within Temptation before Pale. And now I love it. xD After I heard this song with its ethereal lyrics, melody, and vocals, I just knew I had to make a video for Cloud x Aerith with it. And it really is absolutely perfect for them. It reminds me of how Cloud feels guilt and cannot let go of the past, and then he realizes that, in the end, everything's alright. (Indeed, especially since Aerith said that to him~! xD) Pretty much the plot of Advent Children. So, for all the other Cleriths out there, here you go. Since the lyrics can be a little difficult to understand at times, here they are for your reading pleasure. Pale - Within Temptation The world seems not the same, Though I know nothing has changed. It's all my state of mind, I can't leave it all behind. I have to stand up to be stronger. I have to try to break free From the thoughts in my mind. Use the time that I have, I can't say goodbye, Have to make it right. Have to fight, cause I know In the end it's worthwhile, That the pain that I feel slowly fades away. It will be alright. I know, should realise Time is precious, it is worthwhile. Despite how I feel inside, Have to trust it will be all right. Have to stand up to be stronger. I have to try to break free From the thoughts in my mind. Use the time that I have, I can't say goodbye, Have to make it right. Have to fight, cause I know In the end it's worthwhile, That the pain that I feel slowly fades away. It will be alright. Oh, this night is too long. I have no strength to go on. No more pain, I'm floating away. Through the mist I see the face Of an angel, who calls my name. I remember you're the reason I have to stay. I have to try to break free From the thoughts in my mind. Use the time that I have, I can't say goodbye, Have to make it right. Have to fight, cause I know In the end it's worthwhile, That the pain that I feel slowly fades away. It will be alright. (This is my 36th AMV, in case anyone's counting. xP) [I DO NOT OWN THE MUSIC/AUDIO, CLIPS, AND WHATNOT. COPYRIGHTED TO WHOMEVER OWNS THE COPYRIGHT, AND I DO NOT CLAIM TO OWN IT IN ANY WAY. Gainsborough Connections: Prof. Abel and Bach

"Professor Abel", painted ca. 1777 by Thomas Gainsborough (oil on canvas), is an homage to his friend. Shown are some of the elements that first got my attention. The painting is in The Huntington Art Gallery collection, Karl Friedrich Abel (December 22, 1723 -- June 20, 1787) was a German composer of the Classical era, spanning the life-time of Jean B, Russeau. He was a fine player on the viola da gamba, and composed important music for that instrument. Abel was born in Cöthen, the son of Christian Ferdinand Abel, the principal viola da gamba and cello player in the court orchestra of Johann Sebastian Bach. It was on Bach's recommendation that in 1748 he was able to join Johann Adolph Hasse's court orchestra at Dresden where remained for 10 years. In 1759 he went to England, and became chamber-musician to Queen Charlotte. He gave a concert of his own compositions in London, performing on various instruments, one of which, the pentachord, was newly invented. He was a boy pupil of J.S. Bach, who in turn was a god-father to one of Abel's children. Professor Abel occupied a unique position in the history of music. With Johann Christian Bach, he co-managed, performed and composed for one of the most successful concert organizations in London during the late 18th century. From 1765 to 1782, the popular Bach-Abel series was his principal venue, yet the instrument on which his fame rested as a performer was by then universally considered to be old-fashioned and out-of-date. Few amateurs and even fewer professionals were attracted to the viola da gamba after the close of the Baroque period. However, the music which Abel played on these concerts was anything but out-of-date. The 'Prelude' on this recording, played on a viola da gamba by John Dornenburg, is an example; it was taken from a manuscript (New York Public Library, Drexel 5871) containing thirty pieces thought to represent the style of Abel's solo improvisations. The main reason why the instrument fell into oblivion was becauase it's sound was not loud enough for concert halls. In the baroque and renaissance, most musical performances occurred in the home, small theaters, churches, or the palaces of the nobility. Towards the end of the 18th century and into the 19th century, performances moved from the chambers of the rich to the concert halls. The viola da gamba was not loud enough to be heard effectively and didn't fit well into an orchestra. Thank you Martins de Sa for the "palhinha" and Harmonico, for the clarification.

Echo -- Cloud Strife x Aerith Gainsborough

Another dark tribute to Cloud x Aerith, set to Christina Rossetti's poem "Echo", music by David Dickau. Echo: Come to me in the silence of the night; Come in the sleeping silence of a dream; Come with soft rounded cheeks and eyes as bright As sunlight on a stream; Come back in tears, O memory, hope, love of finished years O dream, how sweet, too sweet, too bitter-sweet, Whose wakening should have been in paradise, Where souls brim-full of love abide and meet; Where thirsting longing eyes Watch the slow door That opening, letting in, lets out no more Yet come to me in dreams, that I may live, My very life again though cold in death; Come back to me in dreams, that I may give Pulse for pulse, breath for breath: Speak low, lean low, As long ago, my love, how long ago

Angels Cry - Cloud Strife, Aerith Gainsborough, & Zack Fair

MY FIRST CLERISACK AMV! :D Wait. Which sounds better: Clerithack or Clerisack? :P I'm very fond of Zack right now, so I just HAD to make an AMV with him. JUST HAD TO. XD Besides, these are my favorite characters. :D NOTE: Not really a pairing AMV, so nope, not a Cleris or a Zeris vid. :D How should I say this? It's like Cloud feeling sad over the deaths of the two people so dear to him. Take it from there! :P Song: Angels Cry Artist: The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus DISCLAIMER: All my videos are fanmade. I do not own FF7/Advent Children/Crisis Core and the song. Copyright to Square Enix and The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus.

Mugen- Aeris Gainsborough and Tifa Lockheart vs Sephiroth

I didn't upgrade Aeris and Tifa, my last vid of Tifa vs Sephiroth I made Tifa cheaper, but this vid is using the default Tifa that the creator made it as so it's not my modded Tifa, but just the normal Tifa with a better palette. Although I totally downgraded Sephiroth because he has all this unneeded cheap attacks and no matter what I did it seemed impossible to downgrade them so Most of the hypers I disabled in Sephs CMD. You can get Aeris Gainsborough at http://infinitymugenteam.com You can get Tifa Lockheart at http://www.geocities.jp/yamakichi_do/mugen.htm You can get Sephiroth at http://sephimugen.free.fr

The Reason - Zack Fair x Aerith Gainsborough

A video with one of my favorite couples.^__^ Love the song!! Song: The Reason By: Hoobastank

The Garden of Everything- Cloud Strife x Aerith Gainsborough

This song is very profound. This is one of my favorite videos, and "The Garden Of Everything" is such a poignant, perfect CloudxAerith song. (Not to mention the female part is sung by Aerith's Japanese voice actress.) I hope you enjoy this video, rate and review please! (My 30th video! PARTY! xD) The lyrics are as follows: The Garden of Everything - Steve Conte and Maaya Sakamoto Here you are Daylight's star Made out of miracles Perfection Of your own You Alone O so incredible Each atom Sing to me "Set me free From chains of the physical" O free me, O free me The mirror melts I'm somewhere else Inside eternity Where you on Outstretched wings Sing within The Garden of Everything Where memories Call to me Backward dreams? Or phantom reality? Call to me, they call to me And so here we are Lovers of Lost Dimensions Burning supernovas of all sound and sight Every touch, a temptation And for every sense, a sensation Eyes of pure Deep azure Quite unbelievable The sun's daughter You've been made Not to fade Quite inconceivable Each atom sings to me "Set me free From chains of the physical" O free me O free me A love like ours A starry flower Through seasons and centuries As rivers reach the sea You'll reach me With songs of your symmetry A small boat There will float To far off coasts The Isle of Infinity Come with me. O come with me Here we'll see Love's lost tree Made out of miracles Emotions, crystal leaves To cover me And you in eternity Each atom sing to us Through the blood "Love is a miracle" Sings softly, it sing softly And so here we are Lovers of Lost Dimensions Burning supernovas of all sound and sight Every touch, a temptation And for every sense, a sensation And so here we are Twin stars of brilliant brightness Lanterns lit by life for all the depths of night And every day will return us To arms of the ever eternal And so here we are So far from earthly orbits Burning supernovas of all sound and sight Where every day will return us To arms of the ever eternal [I DO NOT OWN THE MUSIC/AUDIO, CLIPS, AND WHATNOT. Gainsborough Gallery - Dreams In A Box Car (1969)

Gainsborough Gallery with their single "Dreams In A Box Car", from the 1969 album "Life Is A Song" Jae Mack (lead vocals) Mel Degan (lead vocals) Henry Small (vocals, violin; replaced Degan) Peter Marley (guitar & vocals) Dennis Paul (bass) Ray McAndrew (drums) Tim McHugh (keyboards) The Gainsborough Gallery formed in Calgary, Alberta Canada in late 1964 as The Skeptics. Dennis Paul (Planidin) who had previously been with Wes Dakus' Rebels, and Mel Degan (previously with Privilege) came down from Edmonton & joined in 1966 and the group became The Gainsborough Gallery. The name was keyboardist Tim McHugh's idea, after the "Gainsborough (Art) Gallery" in Calgary where the group had their fan mail re-directed for pick up. The group had done their first recordings at Porter's recording studio in Las Vegas, Nevada. The studio actually had a 5 minute recording charge "break" because it was located beside a train track and in the middle of recording sessions, would have to stop for 5 minutes as the train would pass by...after that, the clock was back on. Since that venture brought them no luck, they decided to try Norman Petty Studios in Clovis, New Mexico since Dennis Paul and Wes Dakus had recorded there before. In 1969 the group went there to record a full length album. 'Life Is A Song' was released on Petty's Evolution label in December 1969, the title track written by George Tomsco of The Fireballs. Tomsco came in with sn acoustic guitar, pitched them the song and the group agreed to do a quick few takes of it the same day. Interesting note is that Petty always tried to do something unique with songs, and in this case - the trumpet part was a young Mexican boy that they basically dragged off the street, who couldn't play overly well & they overdubbed his lead trumpet part for a "dual effect". "Life Is A Song" became their biggest hit, peaking at No. 54 on January 24th, 1970 and stayed on the Canadian music charts for 10 weeks. The album track "Dreams In A Box Car" features Peter Marley on lead vocals. Degan briefly left the band to rejoin Privilege and was replaced by Henry Small following the release of the album but soon returned. Another single was released from the Petty session "Ev'ry Man Hears Different Music" which did not appear on the LP. It peaked at No. 78 on April 11th, 1970 and stayed on the charts for 9 weeks. Frustrated with their lack of success, they decided to continue until their contract was up, then disbanded. Their last performance together was opening for Lighthouse at Calgary's Jubilee Auditorium in March 1971. McHugh is still involved with music and producing in Vancouver, BC.; Henry Small joined Canadian groups Scrubbaloe Caine, Small Wonder and Prism; Marley, McAndrew and Degan are still in the music industry and reside in Calgary; Dennis Paul is a financial consultant in Arizona; Mack now lives in Tennessee. with notes from John Einarson and Jae Mack.

If I Fall - Cloud Strife x Aerith Gainsborough

[[[READ FIRST!!!]]] HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CLOUD!!! (It's August 11 here, so yeah.) 20th. :)) This song reminds me of Cloud so much. And I'm sure you'll agree when you hear it. ;) Song: If I Fall Artist: Amber Pacific My vid's supposed to show that Aerith is the person Cloud runs to when he's facing problems, and feeling crappy. :)) It can be considered a tribute to Cloud, but then...it also promotes CLERIS. :| Oh well. CxA it is. :) NOTE: I thank trinity1001 for my new AC file. :)) XD you rock! NOTE 2: This isn't supposed to be my 20th, but since i got all excited in making my first vid without the annoying black bars and the subtitles, I decided to go for this one. The real 20th is in private mode. :)) Don't know when to put it in public, though. :| =))=)) NOTE 3: It's a little blurry, but oh well. I don't mind one bit. :)) NOTE 4: Lyrics are lyrics. :) Here you go! This is for the ones who believe their lives won't change Hoping that someday things will mend and be the same And this is for the ones who have lost it all And all that's left to gain Is a simple reminder that the things that we're blind to slip away ohhh How can I say Say I'll be okay And if I fall through these days that go by without cause Just a painful mistake has left me here on my own And if I fall through these nights I can't seem to go on Just a sign that you're with me gives me the strength to hold on Now that the line's been broken I'm too afraid to just look back The pages have left an empty space You were all I had Why does it have to be this way These things they'll never change Still I'm left with knowing, content and happy, this is all I need And if I fall through these days that go by without cause Just a painful mistake has left me here on my own And if I fall through these nights I can't seem to go on Just a sign that you're with me gives me the strength to hold on And if I fall through these days that go by without cause Just a painful mistake has left me here on my own And if I fall through these nights I can't seem to go on Just a sign that you're with me gives me the strength to hold on [[[Cloud-like, don't you think?? =)) haha.]]] DISCLAIMER: All my videos are fanmade. Travelling Soldier:Zack FairxAerith Gainsborough

This is not my best video. Its fairly anti climatic, yet it flows rather well. In fact, its kinda rubbish but the song is OH SO FITTING. A very hard song to do, more so with the lack of Zerith clips. The Zerith art at the end belongs to respective owners. Aerith waits in vain for her love, Zack Fair, to return to her, his letters the only indication that he is alive. When the letters stop coming, Aerith fears the worst. Two days past eighteen He was waiting for the bus in his army green Sat down in a booth in a cafe there Gave his order to a girl with a bow in her hair He's a little shy so she gives him a smile And he said would you mind sittin' down for a while And talking to me, I'm feeling a little low She said I'm off in an hour and I know where we can go So they went down and they sat on the pier He said I bet you got a boyfriend but I don't care I got no one to send a letter to Would you mind if I sent one back here to you Chorus: I cried Never gonna hold the hand of another guy Too young for him they told her Waitin' for the love of a travelin' soldier Our love will never end Waitin' for the soldier to come back again Never more to be alone when the letter said A soldier's coming home So the letters came from an army camp In California then Vietnam And he told her of his heart It might be love and all of the things he was so scared of He said when it's getting kinda rough over here I think of that day sittin' down at the pier And I close my eyes and see your pretty smile Don't worry but I won't be able to write for awhile [Chorus] One Friday night at a football game The Lord's Prayer said and the Anthem sang A man said folks would you bow your heads For a list of local Vietnam dead Crying all alone under the stands Was a piccolo player in the marching band And one name read and nobody really cared But a pretty little girl with a bow in her hair [Chorus x2]
