The second train is a monstrous 105-car westbound unit grain with leading unit BNSF 741, trailing units BNSF 5261, BNSF 4432, and BNSF 1107, mid-train DPUs BNSF 1013, BNSF 4392, and CSXT 7848, and rear DPUs BNSF 4472 and EMDX 9053.

Just some pretty footage of this area slapped together. 16th Short timelapse of bryce till battery flat. On to visitors center, quite interesting but ranger (a young man) was a bullshit merchant. Out and back towards the grand canyon. Last 50 miles annoyingly windy. There I met with a guy who had a fantatic but broad knowledge of the geolgy of the Earth and area. We got on well, I showed him my 'correlated history of the earth poster' which he in turn also thought was great. Watched his talk at 4ish, then timelapse of Tstorms over canyon for about an hour. (weather had looked bad over the canyon since I got there). Ran back to car on only just got in the deluge. Drove out, and was going to go on through night, but within a mile I hit a deer carcus at ~50 mph (scared the shit out of me!) and half a mile later saw deer by the road side. Found a quiet side dirt road for the night. 17th Soon the drive left the forest and onto the desert highlands. Stopped off at sunset crater for a nose around... similar to craters of the moon, with the exception of the vast san fanscico mountain behind. Also a gazillion sinter cones nearby. Down to flagstaff where I found free wifi in a safeway. Made a movie or two and uploaded some others, then on towards painted desert. Skipped meteor crater, and stopped on some railway siding pull off the freeway just short of Holbrook. Dramatic Tstorms on drive out of Flagstaff, although none hit me.

Using my Palm Treo 700wx to connect to the Alltel EVDO internet on celltowers I have driven from Phoenix to Tucson, Phoenix to Yuma, phoenix to Prescott and now Phoenix to Flagstaff, AZ with the internet working the entire drive except for a hick up every now and then when my streaming music skips a few times. So in this video I recently tried it out for the first time as I drove to one of our jobs in Flagstaff, AZ. I live near Surprise, AZ which is west of phoenix. I connected it to the internet to listen to music and I drove into Phoenix then up north to Camp Verde and then on up to Flagstaff. About 130+ miles and the internet actually worked the entire drive there! I use Alltel because they have probably the best service in this part of the country. Also, Verizon are Nazi's and will charge you for over using your internet especially if you tether to your laptop. Sprint and AT&T blocked the tethering feature alltogether. Alltel charges an additional $10 a month to tether, but my Alltel rep told me NOT to sign up for it unless they catch me using it first. Alltel has not blocked my tethering ability or charged me anything extra. I've been doing this for 10 months now straight! 5 days a week to my laptop in my work van! :) It is fast enough to surf youtube but I primarly use it to stream music through shoutcast via WinAmp media player. Music streams in mp3 or AAC formats. AAC is the new and greatest thing requiring less bandwidth than mp3.
