Filmed on location in Mexico with 'Josephine' and super-16. Little Mexican boy illustrates the 'second coming.' The film features people from a small village on the East coast of Mexico -- the intent being to involve a local community in the project and to ensure that the local community also benifits directly from the commission. The film involved much layering, matteing and rotascoping to interweave time shifts within the story. The song is said to be very old and hence the new generation does not understand every word. The song is about a young child crying because he does not see his father with the family. In response his elder sister sung this song to comfort as well as tell him the reality, with an appeal for their deceased father to protect this child in the land of the living (local ancient belief is that the dead care for loved ones they left behind). The old woman also said that the sample, if listened to carefully, used some words and sounds that were added to make it sound more melo. Expression of some words twice, as well pronounciation of most of the words are different from that of normal conversation. Eg. 'O' should be OE', Angiangi should be angisi. This is very common with local traditional songs. Thanks to the people of the Solomon Islands for the lyrics, translation, and interpretation

Michael Angelo Batio performed Rain Forest on his 2006 DVD instructional video Speed Kills 2. http://www.metalmethod.com/lead-guitar-lesson-speed-kills-2.htm Speed Kills 2 is the follow-up to Speed Kills, the most popular guitar technique video of all time. People are amazed by Michael's extreme shredding performances but they don't really understand what's happening in these videos. This piece is over six minutes long and what you see and hear is what you get. This was a three-camera shoot, which allowed us to cut between cameras to make the video more visually appealing. As everybody knows, when you cut to a different camera it could be from another take. Not here. We turned all three cameras on and let them roll for twenty-four minutes. During that period of time Michael performed the piece from beginning to end three times.
