The climbers, exhausted from their summit climb, were soon lost in darkness, in a fierce blizzard, far from the safety of High Camp at 26,000 feet. World-renowned climber and filmmaker David Breashears, who aided the rescue efforts back in 1996, now returns to Everest to tell the fuller story of what really happened on that legendary climb. Through remarkably intimate interviews with the climbers and Sherpas who survived the storm—many who have never spoken before on American television—Breashears sheds new light on the worst climbing tragedy in Mount Everest's history.

When double amputee Mark Inglis reached the summit of Mt. Everest in May 2006, he was feted by the press and public alike. But a few days later he was plunged into controversy when it was learned he and his team mates had passed an incapacitated climber, David Sharp, leaving him to a lonely death high in the Death Zone. In Dying for Everest we hear the stories and witness the strange effect Everest has on the rules of survival and finally, the end, we are able to judge for ourselves the morality of climbing in the Death Zone.

I took this sight-seeing flight out of Kathmandu to Mount Everest. Round trip time was about 90 minutes.

Four Tibetan independence activists, including one Tibetan-American, were detained by Chinese authorities today after demonstrating at Mount Everest's main base camp in Tibet, unfurling a banner reading "One World, One Dream, Free Tibet 2008" in English, and "Free Tibet" written in Tibetan and Chinese.

A video of me and my family on our 2007 trip to Disney World. This is Mount Eversest in Animal Kingdom 110,000 views thanks everyone! Oh yea, Ive been getting alot of comments concerning the rules of the park. I asked permission before going on the ride, the ride attendent said it was alright but I was responsible if anything happened, I have me asking her on video but I trimmed that part out. As for safety I had the camera firmly strapped to my hand and kept my hands inside the ride.

The view from the summit is awesome and stretches 100 miles where the horizon is curved. This panorama was filmed at about 8.10am after spending 30 mins on the summit and then descending 1800m to the relative safety of Camp 1 at 7100m. You can just see 3 climbers from the south col route about 100m below, approaching the summmit at the end of the clip.
