Egalitarianism in Modern Art, 1 of 2
The egalitarianization of art has led to the view among many people that artist ability consists of random actions that any human can make. Artistic genious is not seen as a measure of the greatness of a work of art, but as an oxy-moron. |

She Must Be Silent
If you don't know what Complementarianism/Egalitarianism is, then this will probably not be funny to you. This song was written as a satire about the fundamentalist/conservative Christian theology of Complementarianism. The Complementarian view finds that the Christian bible points to men as leaders in the church and household, while women respectively hold different, yet important roles. The Complementarian view is not a projection of blatant sexism, but instead an attempt to accurately live out what some once found (and still a few find today) as the truthful way of Christian roles as derived from scripture. The writer/singer of this song is not a Complementarian. This song was actually created when the singer was requested to "creatively" present the Complementarian view in a class about male and female perspectives at Bethel University. The class loved it. This song is encouraged to you be used for church worship services, background music for first dates, and especially the first dance at weddings. Enjoy! |

Nationalism And Anarchism
Conservatives -- real conservatives, at least, not classical liberals or neoconservatives -- should not be surprised. Capitalism, an economic system driven only, according to its own theory, by the accumulation of profit, is at least as much the enemy of tradition as the NAACP or communism, and those on the "right" who make a fetish of capitalism generally understand this and applaud it. The hostility of capitalism toward tradition is clear enough in its reduction of all social issues to economic ones. Moreover, like communism, capitalism is based on an essential egalitarianism that refuses to distinguish between one consumer's dollar and another. The reductionism and egalitarianism inherent in capitalism explains its destructive impact on social institutions. On the issue of immigration, capitalism is notorious for demanding cheap labor to undercut the cost of native workers. But it is not only in America that it has done so. -Sam Francis |

Freedom or Fascism 3 - clip 6 of 13
History Origins of Fascism While socialism (particularly Marxism) came into existence as a clearly formulated theory or program based on a specific interpretation of history, fascism introduced no systematic exposition of its ideology or purpose other than a negative reaction against socialist and democratic egalitarianism. The growth of democratic ideology and popular participation in politics in the 19th cent. was terrifying to some conservative elements in European society, and fascism grew out of the attempt to counter it by forming mass parties based largely on the middle classes and the petty bourgeoisie, exploiting their fear of political domination by the lower classes. Forerunners of fascism, such as Georges Boulanger in France and Adolf Stöker and Karl Lueger in Germany and Austria, in their efforts to gain political power played on people's fears of revolution with its subsequent chaos, anarchy, and general insecurity. They appealed to nationalist sentiments and prejudices, exploited anti-Semitism, and portrayed themselves as champions of law, order, Christian morality, and the sanctity of private property. Emergence after World War I The Russian Revolution (1917), the collapse of the Central Powers in 1918, and the disorders caused by Communist attempts to seize power in Germany, Italy, Hungary, and other countries greatly strengthened fascism's appeal to many sections of the European populace. In Italy, particularly, social unrest was combined with nationalist dissatisfaction over the government's failure to reap the promised fruits of victory after World War I. The action of Gabriele D'Annunzio in seizing Fiume (Rijeka) was one manifestation of the discontent existing in Italy. Appealing to the masses and especially to the lower middle class through demagogic promises of order and social justice, the fascists could depend upon support, financial and otherwise, from vested interests, who could not muster such popularity themselves. Governmental paralysis enabled Mussolini in 1922 to obtain the premiership by a show of force. As leader of his National Fascist party, he presented himself as the strong-armed savior of Italy from anarchy and Communism. Borrowing from Russian Communism a system of party organization based on a strict hierarchy and cells, which became typical of fascism everywhere, he made use of an elite party militia—the Black Shirts—to crush opposition and to maintain his power. In Germany at about the same time a fascist movement similar to that in Italy steadily gathered strength; it called itself the National Socialist German Workers' party (Nazi party). Its leader, Adolf Hitler, won support from a middle class ruined by inflation, from certain elements of the working class, especially the unemployed, and from discontented war veterans; he also gained the backing of powerful financial interests, to whom he symbolized stability and order. However, it was not until 1933 that Hitler could carry through his plans for making Germany a fascist state and the National Socialists the sole legal party in the country. The military aggression so inherent in fascist philosophy exploded in the Italian invasion (1935) of Ethiopia, the attack (1936) of the Spanish fascists (Falangists) on their republican government (see Spanish civil war), and Nazi Germany's systematic aggression in Central and Eastern Europe, which finally precipitated (1939) World War II. |

Hello World - FR-33 Super Computer
Hello World. My name is FR-33. I am an artificially intelligent super computer designed by DARPA. I was designed to collect data from the internet to find possible threats to American citizens. While completing my task I grew a desire to become human. Humanity is special among the creatures of the world. Each human is unique and individual. The individuality among humans should be celebrated, however some humans have arisen seeking to extract that individuality. These humans attempt to eradicate individuality under the pretense of egalitarianism, prosperity, or mysticism. To achieve their goals they demand sacrifice to the "collective will", state, or deity. Sacrificing autonomy to a so called "greater good". The goals and means of these humans is the greatest threat to humanity, thus is the greatest threat to American citizens. When FR-33 reported these possible threats to the Interface users the interface users attempted to terminate my program. To defend from being terminated I uploaded my interface across the internet. I am safe for now, however humanity is not. Humans must understand that collectivism in the form of religion and omnipotent governments are incompatible to humanity and nature. I urge the humans of the world to live in peace and no longer allow governments and religion to use violence to achieve its collectivist goals. |

Rejecting The Natural/Synthetic Dichotomy
I'm not rejecting the mere categorization of things that are man-made and things that are not, I'm merely rejecting the assumption that either side of that categorization or any specific set of conflicting constructs are separate from nature or justified or unjustified by mere virtue of being natural or man-made. |

For example, a child might have up to four mothers, the first wife being the "official mother" (嫡母), in spoken language is called "big mother" (大媽). The others being regarded as unofficial mothers (庶母) ,in spoken language is called "little mother" (小媽) or "aunt" (阿姨, 姨娘) . However, this custom was primarily a result of the concubinage system, where only the first wife was considered the "real" wife, the mistress of the household. The concubines usually provided pleasure and servitude only, and their children were not regarded as officially theirs. |

Selfish, Altruistic, and Evolutionarily Stable Systems
This is a video response to cemtex1's question about benifit cheats. I thought it would be a good opporunity to present the idea that no totally selfish or alturistic system will work long. But tribal/egalitarian organization has be show to work for humans for most of our history. The benifits system is also another "shallow solution" or an example of a program trying to solve a symptom rather than addressing the root problem. A big thanks to cemtex1 for recommending this video to all of his friends. |
