It is alarming the amount of violence we see in the news everyday. The violence is contributing greatly to the process of desensitization in today's society. This montage shows what can be seen on TV and in newspapers that contribute to the trend of desensitization. All images were found using Google. By the way, I'm 18 and play these kind of games. A video I made in english class. We had to do a persuasive essay stating our opinion on a controversial issue, then do a video about the paper and I did my paper on how games had no effect and I started on my video. I watched the Manhunt clip that starts out the video and all the classmates around me laughed when the bat connected. I was sickened by the video. I asked what the classmates found funny. One responded, and I quote, "His head exploded." and chuckled. I then re wrote my essay and started my video.

Forced socialization and desensitization. Doriz has been very skittish antisocial lately. I have no idea why but it got worse and worse. If I entered the room she quickly fled. She started never approaching me or other persons. I decided to start forced socialization and desensitization. I snuck up on her while she was sleeping and put a harness on her. A few hours a day I hooked a leash on her and she was tethered where I sit. She now comes of her own and sits on my lap. I picked out a behaviour (giving me a hug) and reinforced it by petting her. So now when she wants to be petted she comes and gives me a hug. This method has worked rather well. Almost too well. She is on my lap all the time and interfering with my typing. So any spelling mistakes are hers.
