Son@Da in ReD

This short clip by Laura Cristin (interacting with Places, Times and Memories) is a Son@Da in Red(ipuglia). There, laying down on the Karst, there is a War Memorial with the remains of 100.000 soldiers (settled in the 22 steps/rows of the Monument) who had lost their lives on Monte Sei Busi in 1915-18. My journey back in Memories starts on top of the h(e)ill: from there one could see --on a fine day- the whole valley of river Isonzo approaching the Adriatic Sea. The Son@Da in ReD took place on November 4th, Day of the Armed Forces and of the Unity of Italy. The music-for-images piece is in ReD chord so as to tune with the typical Karst bush "sommacco" (rhus coriaria) becoming Red at Autumn Time. The Son@Da is Silent and it could not be differently in the Presence of all that.. The homage to the Deads ends with a Sunset in MARano Laguna, not far from Re-di-Puglia, where Isonzo and other rivers flow into the Mediterranean Sea.
