Yeah. I've gone off the deep end. I've been resubbed for a while (not out of my pockets though. ;-D) and came up with a crazy idea on friday afternoon... Why not record a PS play session for each empire? Well, most obvious reason is that no PlanetSide player is going to want to watch this because it's going to be pretty long and not a frag video like all the other PS movies out there, save for maybe a n00b who wants to get an idea of how to play the game. I wanted to get 100 kills in two hours like I could in the old days, but I could only manage ~70 with a pretty bad kill/death ratio due to a stagnant fight on Cyssor (and my usual assortment of crappy luck to boot). As such, I have edited out all the respawn screens (which often climb to 30 seconds plus slight load time in length). Spawn screens are my major pet peeve; I don't want to play the waiting game, if SOE wants a chance in hell at me playing even semi-regularly again, they should lower the spawn penalty to one second instead of the usual 5 that they tack on after dying about 10 times. I have also edited out any lives (or periods between deconstructing and spawning to another base) in which nothing happens... After all, there's gotta be plenty of decent footage to go with all that Tiesto, which should get pretty bad ass around part 3 =p I'll definitely do better when I make a TR video, provided there's enough interest...
