19.07.09 Byla Zora or Bylazora was a city of the Paionians, situated along the banks of the Axios/Vardar river in ancient Paionia (the region is now part of the Republic of Macedonia). In pre-Roman times, it was the chief town and seat of the Paionian kings, a major Paionian city, along with Stobi.
