"That's where the majority of the violent crimes are happening, amongst our young people, and they're our most cherished assets for the future so we have to communicate with them," Mills said. Kedre Browne, 19, used his graffiti art to support Crime Stoppers and said having the police reach out to youth builds trust. "It's important for Crime Stoppers to be around to bridge that gap, not just with the youth but with the community too," Browne said.
