Mario Frangoulis "Vinceró Perderó"
"Prepare to be swept away!," one critic wrote about Sometimes I Dream, the Greek tenor Mario Frangoulis's international breakthrough album for Sony Classical which another writer described as "bathed in the passionate atmosphere of the Mediterranean." And now Frangoulis is back with Follow Your Heart, a striking new collection of songs that reflect his personality and burnish the sound of his remarkable voice, to be released in early 2005. www.mariofrangoulis.com |

HOMEBOY Documentary Trailer
Gabriel is a former gang member with two strikes. A third strike will put him in jail for life. Through Homeboy Industries in Los Angeles, he and other at-risk youth have found jobs and support as they build a new life for themselves and their families. Boston entrepreneur Jim McSherry has tackled a new project in his debut film, Homeboy. It chronicles three former East LA gang members whose lives have always been entrenched in that culture-as they share their dignity in the struggle to leave their violent lives behind through the triumph of the human spirit. The film is a blunt look at the reality of the gang lifestyle, without the usual Hollywood burnish and bluster. The sole purpose of Homeboy is to provide the viewer with a unique "moment in time" opportunity. Through visuals, music and dialogue, the film not only provides insight into a growing problem across the United States, as well as the world, but the opportunity to understand. McSherry hopes viewers who understand can then help change. For information on the film, the people and organizations involved, or how to purchase a DVD, please visit www.jrmfilms.com/homeboy Written, Produced and Directed by Jim McSherry; Director of Photography Stan Rodman and Momchil Michailov; Assistant Director / Cameraman Elsa Gonzalez & Nada Anani; Editor Tony Hale; Still Photography Lucas Foglia; Music Dorian Charnis; DVD/Poster Graphics Keyon Hodges; Production Media Consultant Jan Harrison |

HEALINE NEWS WITH DBICKFORD OBAMA SAYS CONTINUE WAR ON TERROR!
The below is PROOF Obama is part of the NEW WORLD ORDER! By FISNIK ABRASHI, Associated Press Writer 1 hour, 12 minutes ago KABUL, Afghanistan - Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama pledged steadfast aid to Afghanistan in talks with its Western-backed leader Sunday and vowed to pursue the war on terror "with vigor" if he is elected, an Afghan official said. ADVERTISEMENT On the second day of an international tour designed to burnish his foreign policy credentials, Obama and other U.S. senators held two hours of talks with President Hamid Karzai at his palace in the Afghan capital. THIS IS WHAT THE NEW WORLD ORDER IS! There is a worldwide conspiracy being orchestrated by an extremely powerful and influential group of genetically-related individuals (at least at the highest echelons) which include many of the world's wealthiest people, top political leaders, and corporate elite, as well as members of the so-called Black Nobility of Europe (dominated by the British Crown) whose goal is to create a One World (fascist) Government, stripped of nationalistic and regional boundaries, that is obedient to their agenda. Their intention is to effect complete and total control over every human being on the planet and to dramatically reduce the world's population by 5.5 Billion people. While the name New World Order is a term frequently used today when referring to this group, it's more useful to identify the principal organizations, institutions, and individuals who make up this vast interlocking spiderweb of elite conspirators. |

Loreena McKennitt - The Lady of Shalott part 2
the visit A bow-shot from her bower-eaves, He rode between the barley sheaves, The sun came dazzling thro' the leaves, And flamed upon the brazen greaves Of bold Sir Lancelot. A red-cross knight for ever kneel'd To a lady in his shield, That sparkled on the yellow field, Beside remote Shalott. His broad clear brow in sunlight glow'd; On burnish'd hooves his war-horse trode; From underneath his helmet flow'd His coal-black curls as on he rode, As he rode back to Camelot. From the bank and from the river he flashed into the crystal mirror, "Tirra Lirra," by the river Sang Sir Lancelot. She left the web, she left the loom, She made three paces thro' the room, She saw the water-lily bloom, She saw the helmet and the plume, She looked down to Camelot. Out flew the web and floated wide; The mirror cracked from side to side; "The curse is come upon me," cried The Lady of Shalott. In the stormy east-wind straining, The pale yellow woods were waning, The broad stream in his banks complaining. Heavily the low sky raining Over towered Camelot; Down she came and found a boat Beneath a willow left afloat, And round about the prow she wrote The Lady of Shalott And down the river's dim expanse Like some bold seer in a trance, Seeing all his own mischance - With a glassy countenance She looked to Camelot. And at the closing of the day She loosed the chain and down she lay; The broad stream bore her far away, The Lady of Shalott. Heard a carol, mournful, holy, Chanted loudly, chanted lowly, Till her blood was frozen slowly, And her eyes were darkened wholly, Turn'd to towered Camelot. For ere she reach'd upon the tide The first house by the water-side, Singing in her song she died, The Lady of Shalott. Under tower and balcony, By garden-wall and gallery, A gleaming shape she floated by, Dead-pale between the houses nigh, Silent into Camelot. Out upon the wharfs they came, Knight and Burgher, Lord and Dame, And round the prow they read her name, The Lady of Shalott. Who is this? And what is here? And in the lighted palace near Died the sound of royal cheer; And they crossed themselves for fear, The Knights at Camelot; Lancelot mused a little space He said, "She has a lovely face; God in his mercy lend her grace, The Lady of Shalott." |

Wood Engraving on Endgrain Boxwood
Wood engraver John Steins shows how he engraves an end-grain boxwood block with a graver and the aid of an engraver's pillow. Notice that the block is pushed into the cutting point of the graver rather than trying to shift your whole body. Notice how the block is pushed into the point of the graver; one of the secrets of cutting a smooth curve or circle. |
