It's now called the Highway of Heroes, the stretch of road that links Trenton to Toronto. Increasingly, citizens have come out in droves to show their support for some of the Canadian soldiers returning home from Afghanistan. Shot on the Brock Street highway overpass in Whitby, Ontario on July 8, 2007.

September 28, 2007: Recently killed Canadian soldier Cpl. Nathan Hornburg arrives back to Canada from Afghanistan and travels the newly named Highway of Heroes (HWY 401). Many cars stopped and started honking their horns to honour him as he passed.
