The Belgian brewer says it will attempt to remove the company's entire board, naming an alternate slate that would include Adolphus Busch IV, the uncle of Anheuser CEO August Busch IV. Shareholders have the right to sue Anheuser's board if they feel the directors are not acting in their best interest. A majority of shareholders would need to back InBev's plan.-----------------------------------Microsoft and activist investor Carl Icahn say the software maker is willing to discuss a transaction with Yahoo if its shareholders elect a new board. In a letter sent to Yahoo shareholders, Icahn said he has little doubt that a new board would negotiate to sell the entire company and move "expeditiously" to replace Jerry Yang with a new chief executive.Microsoft has confirmed it is prepared to enter discussions after Yahoo's August shareholder meeting if a new board is elected.----------------------------------And... better late than never.
