Jack Scout
Jack Scout is not a person - it's a place - a rocky promontory, covered in grass and bushes and sandy paths overlooking Morecambe Bay in the northwest of England. It's a wild, beautiful, primitive place. I wrote this in the English fiddle and pipe tradition - the music taken to Appalachia by early settlers - and it's in DADF#AD open tuning. In the tradition, it's composed of two themes which alternate. You can get the tab for this from my website at: www.mjra.net
