Four stepdancers at the Saturday night dance, West Mabou hall in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, August 2005. The first dancer is Father Eugene Morris who was home for a visit from his parrish in Newfoundland. The second dancer is Emily Addison from Ontario. I don't know the names of the 3rd & 4th dancers. The fiddle player is Howie macDonald and the piano player is Mac Morin.

this is alex oakley. he is in the olympic hall of fame in ottawa as a racewalker for canada he was in 5 olympics between 1956 & 1975. took the gold medal back to canada in the 1963 pan am games. marie hoskins was one of my mothers best friends growing up in st. john's newfoundland. i love her so much that i adopted her as my auntie marie. marie was having a bit of a problem step dancing on the rug and went to get a different pair of shoes at the end there.
