"Meet Billy Joe Anthony" is a short film, specifically a documentary, that I've been working on. I'm an accomplished video editor, but this is my first venture into a longer-form production beyond music videos, commercials, and public service announcements. Ladies and Gentlemen, I'd like you to "Meet Billy Joe Anthony", a comedian, musician, and unique entertainer from Fredonia, PA who now calls Manchester, NH his "home". This is just a teaser trailer, I plan to have the feature cut finished just after the new year or spring 2010. My influences are American Movie, Fistful of Quarters: King of Kong, the Devil and Daniel Johnston, and Stevie. Billy's influences? You'll figure that out... ------ About Billy Joe Anthony: Billy Joe Anthony is a comedian, musician, and entertainer originally from Fredonia, PA and now calls Manchester, NH home. Anthony dreams of fame, fortune, and being wealthy enough to provide for his friends. Billy's dream is not unlike many other performers, but his personality makes him unique. Meet Billy Joe Anthony... About my involvement with this production: I met Billy in March, we share a passion for Comedy and Music. I thought his unique personality deserves to be a shared and I believe there's a story that will be told. I am shooting and editing the video entirely with a little help from friends. All music will be performed by either me or Billy himself.
