Greg Palaschak plants his first corn of the 2008 season on the Rosenwinkle farm near Kinsman, Illinois. Due to a week of cold weather these seeds were slow germinate and grow. They popped through the dirt into the sunlight after 2 weeks on May 7. This is the first corn sprouted around Kinsman Illinois - although Baudino's may rebut that.
