Last year (Feb 2006) around the same time of year, we had our flight sit on the tarmac for about 8 hours and then it was canceled and we had no way of getting home! We waited in 3 hour long lines and had to incur numerous extra charges. The best JetBlue did was give us a couple vouchers. We had to pay for taxis, hotels, and newer more expensive flight home through Southwest! Thanks JetBlue! 12 Hours at the Jet Blue Terminal during the Ice Storm
While we waited 12 hours for our flight to be cancelled, we got REALLY cold inside the terminal. You can see our breath! And then Jet Blue lost one of our bags even though we never got on the plane!

Airline passengers are lobbying congress to come up with a Passenger Bill of Rights. What does the Passenger Bill of Rights do? The Passenger Bill of Rights insists airlines explain exactly why a flight is delayed, and insists that airlines provide adequate food, water, sanitary facilities and access to medical attention for passengers left stuck on planes. The Bill of Right demands airlines return passengers to terminals when delays occur and under no conditions should a plane sit on the tarmac for longer than 3 hours.
